The most common problems I have found are:

Software will not let you know when you have used the wrong to, too, or two and other homonyms. That is what a grammar checker is supposed to do.
Second, it will let you know when you have misspelled a word when what you typed sounds the same as what you should have typed. That is what a spell checker supposed to do.
And my favorite, forget about punctuation!

Other than that, you can use software to get rid of about 90 percent of your screw-ups (no the ones you intended, of course).

I'm a disabled Network Administator and recieving disablity payments from Social Security and LTD. I spend most of my day waiting for downloads of my favorite television shows to come in and then watching them. When my health allows me to, I write erotic fiction. I hope to be able to write something marketable.

I have two goals: first to make the transition into mainstream Science Fiction and second, sell it for enough money for wife and I live on for the rest or our lives. She has been disabled since birth. I was on disablity before until I taught myself enough computer skills that time to go back to work. Now I have tendon and nerve damage to my shoulders, arms and hands and cant do that anymore. That, by the way is the short list of health problems. I refuse to let them stop me. I don't want much, do I?

If you're changing the ending, do what the movies do... write it and add the words "Alternate Ending" to the title. If you're changing the plot, you can either add the words "Whoever's Version" (giving credit to the person that suggested it) or you can change the name. In either case, give credit in the Introduction and mention the original story. Of course, once you've done that, be sure and sell it to everyone as a "Author's Cut" for $19.95.

It seemed to have started about a month ago or so ago. Since both Firefox and it addons seemed to get updated more than a two dollar hooker turns tricks, I wasn't sure what was causing the problem. Guess I should have looked harder. Anyway, thanks a lot. The problem was Adblock so, I told it to exclude this site from its filter list and that fixed the problem.

Is anyone else having trouble accessing their stories and profile on this site when using Mozilla Firefox? I don't have that problem with Opera, Chromium, Google Chrome, Apple Safari or Comodo Dragon (Which is Chrome based).

I took the introduction to one of my stories and ran it through the calculator. Here are the results:

Get a patent on them so that you own them. Or else apply for a job at one of those companies.

The patent is a good idea and I am talking to someone about that now. The job however is not possible.

I gave up disability once so I could have a better future. I managed to work 9 more years before I became disabled again to the point that now one would hire me. I am disabled and un-insurable. My shoulders, arms and hands have nerve and muscle damage after too many years of working with computers complicated by diabetes that went undiagnosed.

To make matters worse I had a gall stone that was left in too long and developed cirrhosis of the liver, a damaged spleen and pancreas. I am now going after that 'big score' by developing my writing skills and designing games so that I will have enough material to sell that I will be set for life. I want to be able to tell Social Security and the LTD company they can both keep their money.

My shoulders have now become too painful and I am trying to train and learn voice software so I can continue writing.

Thanks for the suggestion though.
