When I was single and dating I wore lacey little things because as woman we are taught this is what men expect. As I got older I decided I really didn't like that scratchy stuff sticking up my butt all day long. Uncomfortable! Once I got married I slowly started introducing plain cotton panties into my wardrobe and currently that is mostly what I wear. I do have some "date" undies hanging around but rarely use them. My husband says that he prefers the cotton panites because it reminds him of home. Safe, motherly, comfortable. Yes, he still likes the lacey stuff on occassion too.
