I must admit I always enjoy reading what other people have written about stories that I have just read, so I'd miss not being able to do that if the option had been disabled.

As for my own, whilst I don't like getting critical comments, I've learnt to accept them (if they're reasonable) and ignore them (if they're not).

I then felt a bit silly for having got so worked up in the first place.
