Here are instances that I feel are unrealistic:

-- The guy takes the woman through several orgasms, then lets go. Do people really do that? Is that what women prefer?
I love having multiple orgasims. Sadly it happens less frequently then you might think.
-- most women I have known absolutely HATE anal sex. Some stories make it sound like that's not true.

Bingo. That's the reality that many of us live, that the Romneys and Ryans of the world can't even fathom, much less wrap their heads around and have empathy for.

Conservatives and Liberals increasingly live in different worlds, in many cases with different experiences, different ways of seeing the world, even different sets of facts. A guy like Romney just can't understand why so much of what he and the GOP as a whole say are not only nonsensical but downright offensive to those who don't share that worldview. I'm sure many of them say the same about liberals, but that's my point. It's not necessarily about good and bad (though sometimes it certainly is), it's about a fundamental schism in this country, and perhaps abroad too.

White upper-class Christian nuclear family in the suburbs is their default. That could not be more foreign to me, let alone an embodiment of ideal American life.

True, in fact it's my major frustration with the Republican party as a whole as well. It's the reason I don't consider myself a Republican. I an not an upper class Christian, nor do I have any desire to ever live in the suburbs. I don't want prayer in school, I think same sex marriage should be allowed, and am grateful for Roe vs Wade.

Voting is considered a legal privilege. I had to hear some lawyers arguing that over lunch today (and I wanted to talk football.) The voting right can and has been changed and altered over the history of the USA. It started out that only property owning males (white) could vote. Eventually freed black slave males could vote decades before they gave any women the right to vote. It makes for interesting reading if you enjoy history as I do. Many people even today take their voting privileges for granted and do not exercise them. Go to the polls on election day and VOTE! Many people died to give you that right!

I love Ron Paul, and was terribly disappointed (although sadly not surprised) when he was dismissed as a serious candidate.

how come you assume that the poor buy ciggies and drink? that shit is expensive! if i was poor i wouldn't be throwing money away on liquor or smokes. and how do you assume that the poor get gov't assistance checks? not all of them do, or, maybe the husband does for the family, that means he can vote, but his wife, who doesn't drive, so doesn't need a DL, doesn't. he gets to vote, she can't. something for the 18 yo daughter living at home. there, cut out 2/3 of potential voters right there. what about people who work jobs and get paid cash? landscapers, etc. no need for id, they don't have bank accounts or checks to cash. bam! no vote for you. and really, voter fraud has never been an issue in this country. there is zero reason to make it one now, other than using it to find a way to keep voters who are typically democrats from voting.

Because I take care of many of them, and they have more gold on their grills then I do in my jewelry box at home!

ugh. you all are going to beat me for this and let me preface this by saying i hate romney hes a liar and a cheat:( but.....

i dont totally disagree with him here. and while no its not 47% of our population, there is a serious lack of personal responsibility and a very inflated sense of entitlement in this country.

part of the problem is able bodied people sucking off our system. its very easy to live for free (if not very well) in this country. and im not talking about the little old lady that needs her meds or the single mom or dad whos partner has run off shouldering them with the responsibility or the disabled vet. im all for our country helping our people. but we all know that not everyone on the dole needs to be there.

and no where in our constitution does it say that we will be provided shelter or food or a livelihood. what we were promised is the opportunity to go out and get that for ourselves. that is still possible to do in this country. it might be harder than it used to be but it IS possible.

personally i really believe that if we are going to have a system in place where our government collects money and then passes it out so that every single person has food and shelter and a doctor then every single person has to pay in. most notably the cash only trade. and by that i mean dealers, sex workers, nannies and bus boys. taxing our income and giving breaks to corps in order to create jobs is not working. lets tax our sales THEN i think we will have a fair system and being to see our wealth being re-distributed into more equitable portions. (but thats another argument)
