You were 44 at the time of your divorce, but you're 42 now? 
Is there some Canadian fountain of youth no one told me about? If so, I have a few Canadian Lush friends who will, hopefully, let me come crash at their place. 
To answer the OP: I get the whole love has no boundaries, you connect with who you connect with regardless of age, blah, blah, blah. HOWEVER, I find men who consistently go out/hookup/date women who could be their daughters kind of creepy. To me, they seem to have control issues and also lack confidence and/or have insecurity issues when dealing with women their own age.

After my divorce I sort of re-entered the dating scene and had to set myself up with a new place etc. I found that a lot of younger gals showed plenty of interest in "dating" me, an older guy. I was 44 at the time, however I perhaps didn't look like an older guy. No grey hair or balding and I was in pretty good shape.
Anyway I was hooking up with 20 year olds all the time. Comments were that they didn't like dating younger guys because of experiance, maturity, etc. it never was an issue for me either. They were all old enough to think for themselves.
As Kristin says, to each his own, whatever makes you happy.

I have enough problems being a guy without complicating things.
Don says it all, life throws us way too many curves to add to it that. However that been said, I have had several "girls" friends who turned out certainly not to be who they pretended to be. As to whether they were guys, probably but no real way of knowing. When some super hot gal posts many explicit photos and is only available to women as another posted mentioned, it fishy! Even better when they bother to crop the pics they use! I found a few on Met-art who were here on Lush as well, lol!
