I like men who talk since I can be a little bit quiet at times. There is such thing as talking TOO much though, especially if they don't have a lot of interesting things to say.

Topic An After Life?
Posted 11 Jul 2010 00:25

I seem to remember us discussing this at some point, but then did a forum search and couldn't find anything. So maybe we haven't.

I was looking at the capital punishment thread and some people have said that they see life in prison as being a worse form of punishment than the death penalty, and that it the DP would be more of a relief.

I guess that would depend what happens to you after you die. Are you going to some place where you will be judged and then possibly punished? Or does nothing happen?

I was also thinking about it after reading the euthanasia thread. Do you think there is something to fear in the next life? Is there a next life?

Just wondering your thoughts :)

Topic Older men/younger girls?
Posted 10 Jul 2010 21:31

I am definitely into older guys. My friends tend to be older than me, so it just seems normal that the men I meet are too. I don't necessarily think it's their age that attracts me to them. It has something to do with maturity and I find I identify more with people older than me. I think it has something to do with where I am in my life. I may be 19, but I find that I can't always identify with people my own age. I think because I tend to hit off with people that are older than me in general, guys are included.

That said I probably do have some "daddy issues" and like that older men are more experienced :)

Topic Assisted and Voluntary Euthanasia
Posted 10 Jul 2010 21:15

I'm all for this. Though this decision should be made by the patient alone. I did a paper a while ago about what makes someone able to make their own decisions medically. And I think it because a bit complicated when it comes to Euthanasia. What makes someone able to choose this option? Does depression factor into their decisions? Age? Any "mental illnesses"? This issue gets really complicated really quickly. What about if someone is unable to make the choice, should a close family member be able to make it for them (maybe in the case of a young child)? Obviously it's a huge decision for the one making it - you can't take it back.

That said, I am all for it. I have worked in hospices and seen people I love suffer through illnesses. Had they been capable they probably would have committed suicide themselves, but the option of assisted suicide was not available for them. When I was in the hospital a couple of years ago I met a man who I developed a very close relationship with. He was not terminally ill, but did have an illness that wasn't going away. He wasn't going to die any time soon, but was suffering both physically and emotionally. He also was unable to kill himself. He was definitely depressed and had no family or friends to help him with what he was going through. He had asked doctors to assist him in ending his life. However, this was not done. He was just given psychiatric help which he had already been receiving for several years due to his OCD. One night, when I was getting close to being released, he asked me to help him. I seriously considered it. I really understood it, because of my own past experiences. I really had to step away from my relationship from this man, but I realised I couldn't help him. I was 16 and felt it wasn't my place. I truly understood what he wanted, because there was no hope in him getting any better physically. Emotionally things are still difficult for him. I get emails from him every now and then when he is able to send them. I know things are difficult, but they are getting better, and he is getting some normalcy in his life. He is still suffering though and he is no longer looking to end his life. So I still think, what if I, or someone else had helped him?

Also medicine has developed a lot in my lifetime. But I find people are being kept alive, when there is no quality of life left. I have seen this with grandparents, and my brother. My brother was born with an upside down heart (or at least that is how it was explained to me at 8 years old) and was kept alive for several months. As baby it was horrible to see him suffer. My family saw it as "God's Will", and just let it be. They knew about his condition before hand and chose not to get an abortion. As a young child a remember it being very difficult to watch. I didn't understand and remember asking my parents why they couldn't make it end. So in a case like that when someone can't choose to end their own life, would it be okay for someone else to?

Topic how soon is to soon to ask for anal?
Posted 10 Jul 2010 20:36

I am always in favour of going with the flow. Maybe put a finger there or a tongue. If I'm into it I'll let you do it, if not then I will move your hand to where I want it to be. Nothing like disrupting the flow of things by talking too much.

However, I was with a guy recently who asked me in the beginning what my limits were and asked if I would do Anal (upon our first meeting). I said I didn't really have many limits, and would let him know if he was going to far.

But try a finger or tongue first - don't just try and stick your dick in there.

Topic Capital Punishment
Posted 08 Jul 2010 01:42

OK, let me explain my point here. A prison for dogs is a ridiculous concept is it not? I think the same about keeping a person in prison for the rest of his/her life. Its a hypocritical attempt at maintaining "humanity" by imprisoning someone in an inhumane environment, instead of putting them to sleep painlessly.

There. Analogical enough for you?

People are not dogs. There's an old saying: "Even if he ain't good for anything else, he can always set a bad example..."

Besides which - would you want to be the person who put all these condemned prisoners to death, only to find out years later that some of them were actually innocent?

I think if you actually read my previous posts, you'll see that I would only recommend the death penalty for the most serious offenses. I'm talking people convicted of multiple murders, serial killers, and those that run criminal enterprises from behind bars. As I stated earlier, I think the US (especially Texas) executes too many people. I just think its a bit of a farce to sentence someone to 582 years in prison and then lock them up in a supermaximum security facility for 23 hours a day until they die.

Where are they the other hour?

Topic Women in abusive relationships?
Posted 08 Jul 2010 01:29

there is also the option of pulling back from the friendship as hard as that is. there can come a time when you can just counsel no more, cannot dry another tear. and it isnt because you dont love her but maybe you have given all the help and love that you can. sometimes people must be left to live with their choices...as hard as that is for us. then when she is ready to move to a healthier path you will be there to help her find her footing.

hoping for the best for both you and her :)

Pulling away probably wouldn't be a good idea. It will most likely make her less likely to leave, if she doesn't have a friend and only has him instead.

Ice Cendol - ice and coconut milk with noodles and either beans or nuts depending on where you are from. I have also had them with a scoop of ice cream on the top.

Topic At what age do people "get it?"
Posted 04 Jul 2010 20:03

I am having a bit of trouble phrasing what I want to say, but I will give it a shot. I think a lot of people make assumptions based on age. I am told I look and act a lot older then I am. Then as soon as I say I am 19, people sometimes automatically feel like they have to avoid certain topics around me because I am "too young." Yet I have a higher maturity level then a lot of people my age. I have lived on my own, had to take care of my self since I was younger, I have seen more of the world then most people, had to deal with and see things that most people never do, and should never have to.

And sorry Damon, I think I may have gone off topic - I didn't really understand your question. Sorry.

Topic Why do women want to fatten up their men???
Posted 02 Jul 2010 06:01

I am English, and our country is run on cookery programmes! All women like to be pampered and spoilt, so fig speaking yes most women do like someone else to pamper them, in malaysia its a different culture.

I am English too. I was more questioning the part about women not being arsed to eat what they cook themselves. I love to cook, but sometimes don't feel that hungry when I spend all day in the kitchen smelling food, but that isn't a female thing. I don't understand the comment about women not being bothered to eat the food they cook and therefore want to eat other people's food? Why wouldn't that apply to men too?

And I guess if you considered cooking more of a chore or did it all the time, then sure you'd want a break every now and then from it. I just don't see why this would be a gender issue.

Topic Why do women want to fatten up their men???

and most females love "other" peoples food because for some reason they cant be assed to eat it when they have cooked it for themselves and partner, they say it tastes better when someone else cooks it.

Really? Do we?

Topic Why do women want to fatten up their men???
Posted 02 Jul 2010 05:29

I recently had a fling with a guy who was very skinny. I usually like my guys to have a little more.... something. He ate at least five meals a day, but had a high metabolism so stayed really skinny. I would make jokes about what he ate and how he needed fattening up, but really that was the way he was so I liked it.

My step dad is like that to and my mum always jokes about it, but I have never heard anyone talk about fattening their guys up seriously.

A-team was full of actions but they also had some jokes that made the whole audience laugh. Really good movie in my opinion. The Karate Kid was even better. The kind of movie everyone could enjoy

I agree that A-team had some funny moments, but I would never classify it as a really good movie. There wasn't much to the plot, acting or script which in my opinion is part of what makes a "really good" movie.

Topic Movies coming out in 2010
Posted 02 Jul 2010 03:09

ah painter, why do you got to be so negative?

Because I think it's a waste of money and time to make and watch average movies. I fully understand most people just want to be entertained when going to the movies. That's fine, even I like to be entertained every once in a while. But Hollywood has turned into a stale industry which ran out of ideas and the current remake wave isn't going to stop anytime soon.
As a movie lover this just saddens me and is the source of my negativity.

Btw, anyone seen the new "Toy Story" yet? I've heard good things about it so kinda excited about it. Pixar can do no wrong imo! hello1

Im seeing it this coming week, so excited!

The new toy story is great. Much better then the second one, but if you didn't see the other two you will miss out on a few jokes.

I use facebook primarily to play mafia wars ...I have to finish all the job misssions(I'm a bit obsessed) oh and too keep in touch with my family too but mostly to play mafia wars lol

I met a guy in Malaysia a couple weeks ago. We swapped numbers because him and his wife offered to take me someplace that can only be reached by car. The husband added me on facebook and after a couple days wrote on my wall "Oh to be frank, I really only added you on facebook, because I thought you would play Mafia Wars. But I see that you don't..." or something along those lines.

Thanks!

Topic Withholding sex from your partner
Posted 02 Jul 2010 00:54

I would never withhold sex from anyone. I may joke about it from time to time, but really it seems like a completely childish thing to do. You should be able to talk about whatever the issue is and compromise, if you are having to withhold sex then something is wrong with that relationship. Their shouldn't be an issue of "giving into" one's demands.
