I don't get why Russia are making such a big deal about the Azerbaijan cock-up. For gawd's sake, it's just a competition!
Topic Serial Killers and their prevalance.

The answer is clear to me...
Idle hands.
These countries you listed are amongst the most developed. Hunger, need, desperation are at a minimum. This environment creates jealousy, wrath and envy amongst those that had the tools to become but never did. These societies are not used to violence as an everyday thing and the serial killer can thrive, he can go un-noticed.
California is arguably the best place on the planet to live because of weather, economy and opportunity. The women are the most beautiful as well. This can breed hate and will amongst the have-nots. You have a have-not with will power and a skewed mind and you just created a serial killer.
I've never thought of it like this before that but now you've said it, it makes so much sense.

If it's discreet, I wouldn't have a problem with it. I once saw a woman changing her baby's nappy (i.e. diaper) in a doorway of a closed shop but you couldn't really 'see' anything so it didn't bother me much.

Some of the detainees have been cleared for release since 2007. The majority of them should be home by now. Besides, I thought it was going to close in 2010.
So why is Guantanamo still open????

Topic So ladies, what do you buy for happiness????
Posted 19 Feb 2013 07:07
OK, there's a long list but number one is shoes, number two is skirts and number three is liquorice drops. They don't make me infinitely happy, but they do ease any stress I'm having.

That's pretty interesting "Hugecock69." Yes, I put that in quotations because I don't consider you a real man because I don't consider men that give themselves a name that's more than likely a figment of their imagination. Talk about real...
Wait, where do I get that 'Like' button I used to see around here?

Topic Paralymic star Oscar Pistorius shoots his girlfriend
Posted 14 Feb 2013 07:21
I have to admit I never heard of him...but, apparently he's quite the star in S. Africa...
I reckon he got most famous in the London Olympics because he ran in both the Olympics AND the Paralympics... pretty big achievement for a double amputee.
As for the shooting, I find it difficult to believe that it wasn't him. He was dating a model (and she was beautiful) so who knows what sort of insecurity issues he was having? It's pretty tragic for her though... she looked and seemed lovely.

I love hard copies and one of my biggest fears is that libraries are going to start closing down (in fact, they already have) if books are too widely available online. I love the feel of a book and I would hate for them to get unpopular.

So, I saw the article a couple of days ago and well... yeah, the dude has some serious talent. When I emailed the link to a colleague they said it was 'Crap and he might as well have just taken a photograph 'cos no-one can tell the difference.' For each piece of art there are a MILLION different opinions. But come on! Everyone's got to admit that this is pretty darn impressive.
