I don't think it dilutes the site. It adds characters. If anything, we have a laugh over the obvious fakes...and the people who fall for them. That doesn't take away from the site as an overall community. And what kind of community would we be if we didn't have our fakes? It doesn't take away from the great stories, and talent, and debates in the forum, or random funnies in the forum. It'd be different if Lush were a dating site...but it's not. It's an adult themed social network, and should be treated as such. There are fakes all over Twitter and Facebook. Does this dilute and take away from either of these social sites? Do you think Mark Zuckerberg (sp?) or Mr. Twitter Bird is losing sleep over the most likely millions of fake accounts? Of course not. Lush is something different for everyone who joins. You get what you put out. As Shylass said, the fakes are only fooling themselves in the long run. So why go out of our way to make fools out of them?

I totally understand where you're coming from, because it used to bug the shit out of me. I was actually one of the people who wanted some way to "out" fakes. But THAT is what would lead to the dilution of the site. I'm not in the business of designing morals for anyone but myself. It's ultimately your responsibility not to become anyone's fool. Just let it be...these things have a way of finding themselves out, anyways. Or the fakes just fizzle out altogether. But it becomes the mythical Hydra. You get rid of one and 2 more will pop up. It's quite tiresome. Let the fakes run their course...overall, they're not hurting anyone...at least not anyone that doesn't allow them to.
