I don't have a method. I just throw the toilet paper roll on - whether it's over or under is totally up to chance. I'm always surprised that people care one way or another (well, I guess the cat thing is a legit reason).

I'm also a hyper-meticulous - probably a triple or quad wiper. Often I'll finish with a cleansing hygiene wipe too for that sparkling fresh feel.

My major pet peeve (way more than toilet seats left up) are men who don't replace toilet paper on the roll. I HATE this. Even worse when I don't live there and have to go searching under the sink or asking for toilet paper because it's gone. Keep it up for the guests in your bathrooms, boys... Don't make me use your bathtowel .

because, quite honestly, i will - actually, if i'm visiting, i always check to make sure there's tp there first, if not, i go make the host find me a roll - i'm not shy about it - if, for some reason, i miss it, btw, and there's not a roll within reach, and there's a hand towel or washcloth handy, guess what. you've been warned.

and even pre cat, TP NEED TO BE OVER!! that's just how it is. you're just plain weird, sometimes, Ash.

there are some incredibly sexy people here. it's the internet, we communicate through spoken word, not face to face, purely thru words, something a little strange, seeing as how, honestly, this is an image driven culture. not everyone looks like a porn star here. that doesn't mean that, when we chat, we don't come across as porn stars. as a woman, i am especially sensitive to this - girls tend to be dismissed simply because they'r not perfect - a few extra pounds, breasts that are too small, hair that is too frizzy. doesn't mean they're not incredibly sexy, but they might not have the confidence to be sexy if you're judging them by their photo.

on lush, it's our brains that are sexy. so yeah, i do get it - like i said, i deal with this by not posting my photo all over my page, but some do it by posting pics that match the sexy in their brain - and yeah, it's misrepresentation, but does it really hurt anyone if you think "SpiceGirl1872" has huge boobs when she's actually got wee itty bitty ones? not really, unless you end up proposing to her online one night (not really a good idea, btw!).

and yeah, i get that it bugs some people, that some people are mired in the fantasy of actually being a porn star, and yeah, some of those people are probably incredibly fake, but once again, unless we all tend to show sides of us that we want others to see and hide the blemishes - this is a little more extreme, but it's not all the different, in a way.

*shrugs* i came to term with this issue a while back (long story) and now, i simply don't care enough to worry about it. let the buyer beware, as they say.

I find this post hilarious yet interesting! For me, I'm both a folder and a scruncher. If I do #1, I tend to fold neatly and use just enough paper to get the job done BUT (no pun intended!) if I do a #2, I'm a scruncher and tend to use much more than I probably need. I'm not sure about the theories regarding what that says about a person but what the hell do I know?

Now that I think about it, I'm curious about how people replace their toilette paper - with the flap over or under! I can't imagine what THAT says about a person but I know it has been the cause of some serious discussions among couples, lol.

P.S. For the record, toilette paper should be replaced with the flap OVER :P

This has been discussed before many times - as has the idea of a "name and shame thread" - the argument tends to boil down to what is acceptable fantasy and what is deception. If someone wants to come on here and pretend to be a porn star who are you to spoil their fun? Fakes are usually easier to spot from the way they act rather than the way they look.

It's not as straightforward as it at first seems. There are many reasons why someone will use a fake and unless you know exactly why, it won't help matters if they're name and shamed. I know exactly how much women especially are pressured to put photos up; putting up fakes just makes life easier for some people. With reserve image searches you can't really hide behind a fake picture for long. We all have to go in with our eyes open as well as our minds.

On the flip side - knowing how hot some of my friends actually are - sometimes I wish their pics WERE fake! Would make life a hell of a lot easier.

i will sometimes put up sexy avatars just for fun, pix that represent me, rather than are me - i will also occasionally slip a real pic in just for fun. often i get comments such as 'is that you? you're hot', and i will answer them honestly. nope, sorry, not really me, but yeah, she is hot, i agree. if no one asks, then i am happy to let them enjoy the fantasy of having 'seen me half naked'. it's not really such a big deal. i have shared actual photos with people i trust here. that's a small handful, so don't go asking. i'm comfortable with that.

What if it had been a fourteen year old boy and an eighteen year old girl? Do you think that the parents would have prosecuted? I think that there is a double standard. We've gone over this elsewhere though.

Did this relationship go on before the older girl was eighteen? It wouldn't have been a violation of that particular law if the older girl had been seventeen. Was it legal one day, and a crime the next? From what I understand, the state's attorney offered two years house arrest, and probation, with the crime staying on record. Any decision to wipe the record clean would be left up to a judge, and wouldn't be part of the plea bargain. Maybe she's holding out for a guarantee of a clean slate.

I think that there is probably more here than we're hearing. For one thing, both sides seem awfully interested in talking to the press. It seems to me that the parents of the accused would have had more inclination to stay quiet about it. Maybe the father reacted in a moment of anger because the courts had ruled his daughter could stay in school, as long as she stayed away from the other girl, and the other girl's parents had her kicked out anyway.

Whatever, this is going to change both girls lives. Taking it public didn't help either one of them.

you're probably right - there IS more going on then we are hearing. that said, i'm going on what i read in the OP. thing is, i've fought too hard for equality to be comfortable in people perceiving favoritism in any fashion. equal means equal - the same. i don't want to be treated better, or worse.
