Flickering flames and shadows writhe
Across the surface of your bare skin
As you bask in the heat of the fire
And my mouth.

Yellow and orange tendrils twist
In the umber of your eyes
Where I see fountains of passion
Sparking and rising
In roaring, fearsome depths.
My image is wreathed by glowing ribbons
Of panting desire where
Your gaze scalds my body
Along each gentle curve.

Fingers like the fire traverse my breasts,
Tiny kisses of the tips that
Tease and tantalise this smooth, fresh form.
My heat rises like smoke from the
Touch of your tongue-tip,
Scorching licks on green, damp wood,
Drying me to burn fiercely and
Melting the gold within me
To molten joy.

My heart is liquid beneath your touch,
Diamond tears spilling down my cheeks to
Hiss upon the pulsing length of you
And steam our scent between us
Rising, burning apple and cedar wood
Mixing in the fire's glow.

I pour my heart out on the hearth
And beg you slide your way inside.
Strong arms guard this fire from spreading,
Burning myself and you from within.
I fear that I shall burn you out,
But still you stoke me hard and deep
With umber eyes now red-hot coals
As deep within,
You thrust me white-hot
And I am oceans of sunlight
Spread upon the floor beneath your naked skin.

Burn me alive and let this purgatory
Be my every moment of existence,
For when the fire is hottest, fiercest,
Then shall I be burned away,
And then shall I be dampened down
And left in dark and lonely cold.
Be the demon who burns my heart,
But never let your biting flames
Ease this pain beyond the
Threshold of Heaven.
