I walked for years along the sea,
Praying there would someday be,
Someone who would rescue me,
From all the seaweed and debris,
Of what has been my life.
Then one day as the tide did swell,
I happened upon a beautiful Chelle.
I picked it up and held it near,
And heard more than the ocean in my ear,
I heard true love as well.
Is she the one with whom I'l spend my life?
Will she be happy to be my wife?
Will this love last our whole lives through?
Will dark resentments never brew?
We each have felt that pain.
What I know is I have never felt,
A love this strong and I've been dealt,
A winning hand my heart will play,
On which I'm all in any day.I'll bet it all on us.
What have I truly got to lose,
If this beauty's love I chose,
And it turns out to be in vain?
What I risk is worth far less that what I will gain.
So it's well worth the gamble.
They used to call it a "sucker's bet",
Whene'er a gentleman was met,
With a risk free gamble such as this.
One where the gambler couldn't miss.
And I know I've found one.
And so I'll give Michelle my all.
Into her love I'll freely fall.
She has me snared within the Webb,
that has soothed my pain and made it ebb,
And it's a great relief.
I am so happy she's arrived,
And I'm so glad that I have strived,
To be the man that she deserves,
Even when it takes all my reserves,
To be that kind of man.
So as I start this new adventure,
