Adopt Me?

Like a small, gentle kitten, new to the world around it
I hide within myself, behind objects and view from afar
The scariness of the world, people, and voices that speak
Trembling, afraid to be trodden on by those above

Searching for that right one, owner, who would take me into their hands
Hold me, caress me, touch me to bring me out of my forbidden territory
Teasing me when I want to play, and letting me snuggle up against the warmth of her body
To fall asleep at their side, and upon their lap, in that comfort of love

To awaken, and see a beautiful face that stares back, upon the smile that it brings
Shed my fur and have the soft touch of her fingers, caressing my rough exterior of my frame
Blowing warm air upon my body, and gentle wet lips to kiss me that makes me feel all tingly inside
Wrap arms around me, and allow me to lick, and nibble upon the tender soft flesh of her naked body

To experience, that first sensation of love that causes heartbeats to expand within
To have fun, laughter and pleasure from being accompanied by someone so kind and gentle
Words of my name, whispered in my ear as we experience sexual perfection together
To never experience loneliness anymore, but find the happiness of that one to adopt me into their heart
