Why can’t things ever be just black and white?
Everything she says is wrong and you are always right
You always think that she has some sort of hidden agenda
Can’t you see how things you say will never, ever mend her?
She was supposed to be someone you deeply cared about
You told her she was your #1 and couldn’t live without
She’s the one who stood by you when the doctors walked away
She yelled at them to do their work because it wasn’t the end that day
She stood by you and comforted you through your many issues
The thanks she gets is tears that she sheds into her Kleenex tissues
She is trying to leave all the pain and the hurt buried in the past
But every time you speak to her, her happiness doesn’t last
She took her vows seriously and stayed your faithful wife
You told her that your loved her and would all of your life
You used to speak to her with loving words, you now say to others
You never tried to understand, but always understood your lovers
She’s going through a crisis now, which may cost her; her life
And you are thousands of miles away, waiting for your new wife
But money seems to be all you care about, it’s spoken everyday
You’ll keep your appearances up; your golden goose is on her way
She also found happiness and he is the total opposite of you
He will be the one who will make all her dreams come true
He’s is not a pretender who uses people for personal favors or fame
She is herself with him, confident, loving and not playing in this game
When you are rich and famous, will you still remember her?
Or will your new wife make remembering her all just a blur
Now you can’t even manage to say I love you, like always when apart
And when you do, it comes from your mouth, not ever from your heart
So when you read this poem she wrote for you read it again and recall
Your life together had many ups and downs, but you’re the one who dropped the ball
