Broken - Repair

I wasn’t always miserable as you can probably see,
there once was a boy in my life that was very important to me.

We started out as friends and slowly began to fall,
 but as it turns out our love was fairly small.
 
I finally got enough courage to tell him how I felt,
He responded to my feelings and with that I surely melt.
 
I felt like the luckiest girl in the world living a care free life,
hoping someday I would become his one and only wife.
 
There came a day when I thought we would go to college together,
It turns out he lied about being together forever.
 
He promised me a house, a husband, and child.
In the end he became vile.
 
I loved him with all my heart and asked him why?
Last thing he would ever tell me was good bye.
 
I gave him everything.
He promised to take care of me and his child,
when I reminded him he just laughed and smiled.
 
He said I was gullible and stupid;
it wasn’t my fault I was hit by cupid.
 
He moved away without anything to say,
I cried for a month in the cold, cold May.
 
I never heard from him throughout college,
he was living somewhere in faraway Holland.
 
When we were older I ran into him in the street,
there was still tension and heat.
 
He looked miserable almost as miserable as I was,
when I asked him why he just said cause.
 
I invited him back to my home to let him come and see
his child,
and for the first time since then, I actually saw him smile.
 
He told me he made a mistake and never got me out of his head,
that night he stayed and laid with me in bed.
 
We woke up the next morning he was smiling and looking down at me;
we got up and talked for hours while drinking green tea.
 
Now you know how we are,
we will never ever be very far.
 
We will love each other forever and ever,
fight or leave each other?

Absolutely Never!
