With total reckless abandon
You ignited the fire inside of me
Making me weak beyond reasons.

I learned how to love selflessly,
Undauntingly and unconditionally
To nurture a special feeling
That turned our hearts reeling.

But soon I saw a different you
A far cry from the person I once knew
Whom I trusted and loved so true
Oh my life began to turn so blue.

I was saddened and immensely hurt
By your betrayal and uncaring heart
I started to question how could this be so...
Did you ever love me in the first place or no?

I tried hard not to let my despair show
Putting a brave front as much as I can do
Soon tears began to flow
Inevitably letting you go.
