Epiphany of you and me

At first I thought of you as just a fantasy
Now not imagined you are real I see

In fantasy you caught my mind
In reality you hold it in a bind

Each day I feel you nibble a bit more at my heart
I freely give small bits and never does it smart

My heart is slowly becoming yours
Each day I feel yours come to me more

We share openly and without a string
Feeling so at ease when we’re kibitzing

We hold no checks or balance sheet
Both of us sharing freely as we greet

The journey and the highways overtook
Really are adventures not to overlook
