Long before I saw your face
I fell in love with you.

Your voice unheard, it mattered not,
My feelings only grew.

Your written words, not for me,
So tender and so true

Had touched my heart and made me yearn
To reach out to you.

I hesitated. I’d been hurt. 
Was scared to love anew.

Yet haunted by sentiments read,
Knew what I must do.

With trembling fingers began to type.
Still I did subdue.

Slowly did we open up,
