In my fever dreams

there is sorcery and

I am free to ask

for what I really want.

I want you to want me.

I want you to find

my buxom pixie self

irresistible.

.....as irresistible as any

slim young woman

with her long dark hair

flowing around your body......

I do not want to be a secret

or

to cast a sparkly lure

that attracts you to my hidden heart

but only to my hidden heart.

In my fever dreams

you admit your arousal.

You bring me from the shadows.

You treat me as an object of desire.

But awareness stirs

the waters of my fortune and

the tea leaves settle in their pattern.

It is is all a

fever dream

and I will be

who I have always been.
