My mind is stunned, my eyes weep.

Regretting the time we never spent.



Honoring the soldier he was in life.

A Marine, in a war we shouldn't have fought.

At last, he came home; battered, troubled, and a little worse for wear.

He continued being a great man, living into his seventies.



Terrible disabilities, life's way of saying we're all just human.

The pain and torture invaded his body.

A part of his past comes back to haunt him.

God sees, God comes, God takes his tortured body home.
