I haven't said goodbye, just no more,
a game no one knows who started.
I've seen all the plays, they end the same way,
a game I've long departed.
I can't believe you if you don't believe me,
there's nothing left for either of us to say.
If you don't believe, then don't blame me if I don't.
It may just be a game, or longing for yesterday,
You lie to yourself and I'm to believe,
while my convictions are figments of my imagination.
"I know you better than you know yourself,"
and I believed you without any hesitation.
My heart left in sullen coarse hands,
Did you love me from the start, or try to love me?
Everything I did seems to have been for nothing.
Were you looking for a dream, or did you see me?
My resolve and energy plucked.
Sitting here alone and fucked.
Your smile glanced my heart,
the look of ecstasy.
I wanted to believe.
Now the eyes only serve to deceive.
I used to be happy until you were there.
Now, even if they look, I just glare.
Where are you love, under silken sheets?
Waiting for our eyes to meet?
Look up once in a while,
you may notice my timid smile.
I tend to write my heart out,
and show where it lay.
I know it's route.
However, some overlook what I say.
