Looking For Love

A poem for my sweet friend Savanna

She’s looking for love in all the wrong places,
Where she goes all the men have disguises on their faces.

Most of them are telling great big lies,
If their wives found out they would certainly cry.

She wants a man that will be honest and true,
Romantic, loving and sexy too.

She has so much love that she wants to give,
She would even travel across the sea to live.

I tell her, “Dear you must change the venue you are looking in.”
All the men around this place are only interested in sin.

Still she will search to find her shining knight,
Her repeatedly broken heart is her biggest plight.

Can there possibly be a love out there that is true?
This is exactly what I wish my dear, especially for you.

For what it's worth: Me, being a male, must sadly agree that MOST men in America are only looking for sex and will lie volumes to try and get it, showing no respect for the lady. The numbers are low, I also admit, but I know there are some men that really are looking for love - true, honest love. There are a few of us that are sincere and often misunderstood. Yes, there are some that are not just trying to satisfy their physical lust but truly appreciates a compassionate, loving lady.

Oh this made me cry, Was I found out now? I swear I see only good in men. But I do wish they can be honest. They read my profile and sent me endless emails that me, that me you talking about. Or I will be that man. Yea as you know they lied about that too. Thank you Bunny This was a awake up call.
