My lover, he’s back and he’s here to stay
A telephone call made everything just go away
We spoke in great length about all of our issues
No more crying towels for me and no more tissues
He’s more caring and understanding than he was before
And promised me that he will never just walk out the door
He created a room just for us and on our bedroom wall
We post our pictures and our feelings and are having a ball
It’s a private haven for us, not meant for everyone to see
Together we are there as one, no drama and stress free
We agreed to meet face to face one January day
To embrace and feel our love in every possible way
I’m counting the day’s until virtual is no longer my only scene
With my prince, my best friend, my lover whose eyes are green
From calm skies to stormy seas we can face any kind of weather
We will communicate our feelings openly and share them together
To all my friends, I want to thank you, for always having my back
To you naysayers out there, well I guess, you just don’t know JACK!
