One Two Three Love

The second starts first, best friends forever, till you saw the first and made it want to last forever,

Second came under dimming lights and diminishing resolve, to hold onto innocence, which you cherished above.

A swift plunge in the deep tight abyss, you lost what was yours and thought you gained a first with your second kiss.

Tears and bitterness welled in your heart, second was neither first, nor your wanted last.

First remained true, though a third was introduced, 

First was not heeded for the third charm had succeeded.

Third! Yes and finally last!...? with trials, years have come to pass. 

Many found and a lot more lost, but in it grows a blossoming flower; love ever last.

First though will always be first, even in death love still grows, best friends forever we will never part

Second I’m afraid though living is dead; a heart put asunder, an ax over your head.

Third kisses you and places your first babe under your arm, the light catching the gem glittering on your finger...

Third becomes first and second becomes last, first sits in heaven; one two three, true love at long last.
