She has this ability
Even on a crummy day
To put a skip in my step, a song in my heart
And a smile on my face
She is the one I think of
When I need someone to call
A little pick me up if you will
Someone who I know will encourage my heart
She is
for me
My own personal cheerleader
At times the lone person on this earth
Who truly has my back
She does so much for me
I don’t even think she has a clue
Just how impactful and supportive she is
How very important she is to me
She has so many extraordinary qualities
Humility is one of them
Along with an emotional maturity
That is far beyond her years
She is one exciting, one addictive person
The kind of woman who wakes up with you
Even when she’s away
And I’m harder than stone from dreaming about her
She is the kind of girl
Who puts a giant smile on my face
From thousands of miles away
I guess that makes her quite a powerful woman too!
How do I describe her, this woman I’m speaking of?
Feelings are so hard to put into words
And words just don’t quite cut it
I’ve done my best to pay tribute to her here
All I can say is...
I can’t tell you how thankful I am
That she’s in my life...after all
