I stand looking at the soft, breathing sea.

The breeze feels like your hands on me,

warm

loving.

Then you are there.

Your body like heaven to my senses.

Your lips on the nape of my neck.

Your heart flowing over me in waves

that match the rhythm of the sea.

My body calls to you

as you suddenly retreat....

teasing....

tempting.....

My heart longs to chase after you

but I cannot.

I love you too much.

such a complex poem. The ebb and flow...the heart washing over you...the sea so sensual..so filled with longing and wanting and passion...what makes you let go...such a strong sad poem..

nicely done, sugah. great image interplay between the elements and the two people. this reader was left asking "why not go after him" at the end...which is good.
