The Angel and St. Theresa
The Angel came,
Spear held aloft,
Wings unfurled,
Fiery in his Splendor,
He found her,
Soft, Prone, Delicate,
Somewhere between dreams,
He made no sound,
The Spear descended,
Flesh Penetrated,
Her Body filled,
Warmth, Joy, Rapture,
Toes curled,
Back arched,
Mouth flung open,
Eyes wrenched closed,
The Spectacle of
God, Lucifer, Paradise, Inferno,
Passed before her eyes,
A moment only,
An instantaneous Eternity,
He left her,
Fulfilled, peaceful, satiated,
She now could only wish,
That the Angel would return,
Over and Over Again,
