J ealousy will never be a part of my daily life

E very time you display it causes me nothing but strife

A llow me to be me, I know right from wrong

L et me show you how as a couple we do belong

O utbursts and tantrums you say isn’t the real you

U nderstanding and respect is what should be our glue

S pying and snooping isn’t showing that you care

Y ou trying to control me and it’s something I can’t bear.

I try to be everything that you want me to be

But changing who I am will that set you free

You say I crave attention, I guess that’s what you see

I just love chatting with those that want to chat with me

My friendliness to others you somehow see as a flaw

When it gets too much for you, you walk out the door

So how are we going to resolve all these issues on display

Sweep them under the rug to talk about another day

Just love me for who I am and everything that I do

Let’s just make each other happy and never, ever blue
