The sun went away
And left her all alone.
The wind sent her in a toss
And in a gust,
Far away she was blown.
The clouds came dark and heavy,
Storm raged against wind.
He thundered in his pain,
His lighting struck in massive rage,
Tears poured down like rain.
The air shivered in her sorrow,
In the monsoon of her regret,
No more promise of tomorrow,
Happiness was under threat.
She had broke her promise.
Why did she forget?
That she always shined much brighter
When she underneath his gaze,
She was always so much warmer
When she was in his space.
He had not betrayed her,
She had never left his heart.
His heart he had gave to her
He'd thought they'd never part.
Two stars, once so bright,
Now barely showing light.
Dim and weak with dark deceit,
On the blackest of all nights.
The earth beneath them quaked,
And darkness filled the sky,
The foundation felt a break,
The moon could only try..
Please don't take away my sun,
Without you I will die,
All the stars will fall,
And the clouds will only cry.
Please let me have tomorrow's light,
Never, ever will I do again.
Please forgive me my mistake.
Please forgive me of my lie.
Thank you for your infallible love and allowing us to trust again.
