Seeing daylight studded with stars
Moving in dark night, with sunrays in view
I know these thoughts can only lead me so far
The world seems a stranger, when I am thinking of you.

I work on footsteps to lead the way
Losing and reaching different venues
Breathing in worlds and feeling like a stray
A loving distraction, as I am thinking of you.

Spreading my arms while wrapping raindrops in my embrace
Sitting and staring at the sky so blue
I know it is the same one you gaze upon at your place
Distances begin to shorten, when I am thinking of you.

Sharing and telling my feelings to seagull
Promising my word to you as they flutter and fly
To have you , fills me with a contentment regal 
The whole world sits in my palm, as I am thinking of you.

I am not perfect but a tangled mess
You kissed and chose me, though you had perfects enqueued
Feeling fortuitous, lucky and blessed
Feeling ecstatic, when I am thinking of you.

You have been in thoughts for hours and days
Compelling me to switch and think of things new
You are the field upon which my addicted mind longs to graze
Beginning and Endings combine,as I lay thinking of you.
