Virtual relationships
This is my first poem in a while and first since I came back so please any comments would be nice….
Two continents apart and eight hours difference
Yet at this moment I am staring into your deep blue eyes,
You smile and say morning, still rubbing your eyes
I give you a smile and say evening.
You tell me about your dream:
Me and you sitting on an empty beach
With only the moon to light our faces
The stars dancing to give us a show
Waves thundering against the rocks
We talked about how long we have waited to here,
Together tonight and maybe forever
I hold your hand while we look up at the sky
Close our eyes and make a wish for the falling star.
A tear moves away from your eye.
I reach to wipe it away
Against this screen I feel your loneliness,
My heart falls apart
You say your heart belongs to me,
And you long for my touch.
I ask you to prove it to me
When you ask how?
I smile and show you my ticket…
