I was asked yesterday...
"Why do you do what you do,
"What makes you make those choices?"
I look with questions in my eyes and confusion on my little lips...
"You mean my life style,
Or what I wore today?" I jested.
Then my look sobers and I reply,
"I am asked all the time either on net or in real life."
I pull out my phone and show a picture of my love.
Most reactions given are a grimace and a look of concern.
He (to me) is smiling with his contagious grin from ear to ear.
To others they see a cold grey stare and evil composure.
I always shrug and say, "beauty is in the eye of the beholder."
He is the most handsome and kindest person I have ever met.
He worships me, guards me, takes care of me in every way.
They always make a move by grabbing my arms or texting,
"but why do you let him control you and do those things?"
I laugh, giggle and say,
"from day one he has been in control of me, silly,
"And now I let him." I better explained,
"I accept it. I welcome it with open arms and heart."
"He brings out the best of me for all to see,
and for him to enjoy." I state,
"And in return I get to love him and touch the heart
he closed off so long ago."
We are each others futures, our own happiness.
I'm his to protect, his own glass castle.
I pull myself away from their foolish grips,
"so you see this life is no different than anyone else in love."
"Maybe one day you will be as lucky as me,
to find someone for the rest of your eternity,
to share your life, joys, sorrows, laughs and time."
Quite seriously I say, "but as for Him, He's all Mine."
