Love as vast as an ocean

Love that allows me

to plumb the depths of myself

roses that blush their perfume

massaging scented oils of jasmine

into our sighs

Gripping muscles

and unbound whispers

turn to shouts of joy

that furnish our souls

as our lovemaking

raises us up and plumbs our depths

on the mauve evening

of low hanging stars

scented by our essence

Within the twilight and a sinking sun
