X marks the spot,
On the map in my hand
But where does it lead,
It's time to find out.

It must lead to treasure,

Should I search for the treasure,
Marked by the X on the map.

Throughout the years of searching,
I always arrived at a dead end
But I never gave up,
All of my powers and energy went into my search.

I had nearly given up,
When you came into my life
How could I have been so blind,
Not to have seen you there before me all this time.

You were the treasure I sought,
The X on the map
Led me straight to you,
You became the love of my life.

You are my heart,
You are my soul
You became the gold rush,
In which I found my treasure.

You the treasure of my life,
I have your fingerprints 
That have become,
Imprinted on my heart.

You are my today,
You are my tomorrow 
You are my forever,
And my everything.
