You Sing to Me

Years have gone by and I lay dormant

Dormant in a marriage without passion and desire

A marriage made to feel like roommates

One has the burning desire for more

While the other is content in a dormant state

He does not sing to me

Time after time I try to awaken the passion that has been lost

I wonder was there any passion from the start

His touch does not excite me, his words lack feeling

I have been wandering for a while, lost

He still does not sing to me

Then one day, you sent me a message

We chatted everyday and became friends

I sent you poems, then stories that I wrote..revealing myself

Each day something new for your eyes to feast

You began to see me for who I was playful, loving and sensual

You did not sing to me yet

Then our friendship began to change into something amazing

You felt me through the screen

You expressed yourself with passionate words

We wanted to discover more of each other

I heard a faint song in the distance

The discoveries we made were revealing our true selves

So many feelings stirred deep inside me

Not knowing how to react to these new emotions

You woke me up from my dormant state

That faint song began to get stronger

I wanted to hear your voice to feel you

We talked and it happened, my heart, it beated

It became stronger, alive, happy, and mezmerized

Your words were exciting, enticing and loving

Then it happened I heard the song very clearly

I wanted more..I want to see you, really see you

We met and I felt you, and yet I did not run away

Your touch made my body tingle, my mind a blur

My senses stirred by your scent, your touch, your voice

You sang to me over and over

We just let our senses and our emotions take us on this path

The flow of our feelings dictated our direction

We are discovering who we are together

No rush, no worries, just living..I am..alive again

What am I feeling, is this love, lust, or excitement

Whatever it is I dont want it to stop..sing to me, my love
