The Touch of a Musician

I've always loved the Vitamin String Quartet's cover of "Sober" by the band Tool, and this story is based around it.  Yet, it has nothing to do with the beautiful(There's a stronger word, yet I feel nothing will truly describe it) lyrics that my idol, Maynard James Keenan(singer of Tool and starter of Puscifer), has come up with, the instrumentals have inspired me and made my heart soar.

  (About the really short story:)

I normally don't write like this, so spare with me.  It's my first time just saying "you" instead of a specific name, so it feels a little weird to be doing so.

If you have any suggestions on what I should fix or anything, please talk to me.  And comment on how you feel.  I'll be happy(or maybe a little sad) to read your input.

  Enjoy.  :)

I sat, transfixed by the amazing sound that came from your violin.  Just relaxing in the front chair I rented for the evening, I wondered how you made my favourite song sound so beautiful, how you made everything seem to disappear by just running a bow over strings.  I silently sang the lyrics as the people to the side and in back of me watched your performance.

I shut my eyes, lost in my own little world filled with violins and cellos.  It confused me how you always snuck your way into my secret place, and how I always found you standing in the rose garden I created.  You stood there, self confident, as an orchestra prepared to play.  And for some reason, my shy personality left me and I felt like I could do anything.

As you strode toward me, notes began to fill the air.  My heart quickened, and I began to walk toward you with the same pace.  We both wished to be a whisper apart, so close that nothing could break us apart. Your fingers delicately trailed lines against my skin, leaving a mark of heat, caressing me, making me tingle.  And your words--your sweet words that held so much emotion-- left me gasping for breath.

We explored each others bodies with sweet fingertips as the orchestra played on, the lyrics softly screaming in my head.   Our lips met, our eyes closing, fingers still exploring, and tongues dancing.  You tasted sweet, and I hoped you liked how I tasted.

Your hand rubbed my thigh and brought it up, letting it rest on your side.  I could feel you wanting me, and you knew how much I wanted you

My head tilted back as you entered me, but the gasps we both made were tuned out by the loud orchestra.  We both looked each other in the eye, sharing secrets, telling each other how we loved one another, how this was the best feeling.  There was no need for words.

My head rested on your shoulder as I moaned while you plunged deep inside me.  Nothing could describe how I felt to be so connected with you, so close, so as-one.  You went at a steady pace, but when they slowed, so did you, and when they sped up, as did you.

I kissed your neck and shoulder, and I held onto you for balance.  You went deep inside me, the tip just at the opening of my womb, and I didn't want that feeling to end.  Ever.

And with one last kiss, and one last thrust, we came together as the orchestra finished their suspenseful ending.

.......

I looked down into the audience to see you with your eyes closed.  Were you sleeping, or just imagining a scene to your favourite song?  You looked beautiful in your long green dress.  You've never looked so classy in all the years that I've known you.

With the last note, I paused dramatically with the rest of the musicians behind me.  I heard the clapping, and stole a glance at you.  Your eyes were open now, and you were looking around you with a surprised face.  I smiled, silently laughing at you.  You were so silly sometimes.

Finally, as we were cued to take our bows, you looked into my eyes.  I thought I could see every image you've imagined and every thought you came up with.  I blinked, then smiled at you, taking my bow.

.......

My eyes flew open and the audience roared in applause.  I looked around to see almost everyone on their feet, and I turned my head to the stage where you were looking down upon me.  I wondered if you shared the same thoughts as I did, if your heart fluttered like mine does when you look at me.

A smile formed on my lips as I looked at you, and I began to clap.  "Those questions will be answered sooner or later.  And maybe there will be an orchestra playing our song while."

Absolutely captivating story. It was short, but oh so sweet.
