The land of Egypt was smiling. From its lowest slave to the immortal deities that watched over all. Yes
. . . even the gods of Egypt were smiling. The gods' presence could be felt all over the land, but nowhere greater than in the palace of the Pharaoh itself as a new king was crowned. Karim; son of the former Pharaoh Aknadin and queen Tia now sat in the great dining hall on the throne that his father had for so many years. The crown so many of the previous Pharaohs had worn matted down his semi-long black hair while his brown eyes looked out at the royal court that watched him grow up, that were now his servants. It was a very surreal moment for the young man as he'd only lived for about two decades plus and now he was ruler of the most powerful nation in the world. Did he even have the true acumen to actually do it? This was his destiny since birth, but now that destiny was upon him it felt as if the weight of the world was on his shoulders.
A soft hand suddenly caressed his, pulling him away from his self-doubt. The new king of Egypt looked to his right and found his wife Roxana sitting beside him. They were married only five months prior to this and it was a proud day for her as well as her husband. She was going to enjoy being queen, but knew how much being Pharaoh meant to Karim. Their emissary came before them, giving a solemn bow.
"Majesties . . . the people of Egypt await you."
Karim nodded at his words before he and Roxana stood up causing the entire room to erupt in applause. Soon they stood outside on a high balcony facing their subjects. The king and queen gave each other smiles before Karim raised a hand.
At this, the people all took a knee and proclaimed, "Hail to the king!!!"
The people's cheers lasted for a good ten minutes and Karim reveled in it. Seeing Egypt's adulation, his self-doubt began to fade. The people's praise told him that they believed in him, so he needed to believe in himself. He would make a great king. Egypt believed in him, his queen believed in him, and unbeknownst to the Pharaoh though even the gods believed in him.
The domain of the Gods; where the gods of Egypt reside and looked over the earth. They watched Karim speak to his people and enjoy his coronation ceremony. His parents had taken their place in the afterlife and the deities were pleased with their successors. Karim had found favor with the gods because of his strength of character and humbleness during his time as crown prince. Now the young man was king and all qualms with this knowing he would lead his people. The sky god, Horus and Bastet, feline and protector goddess of the pharaoh stood talking privately.
Bastet smiled, "He is strong . . . Aknadin and Tia taught him well."
"They did . . . we can only hope he uses their lessons for the betterment of Egypt," Horus replied.
"He will," Bastet told her fellow god. "Karim has waited for this opportunity his whole life . . . he won't fail."
Horus shook his head, "You favor him too much like the others. He's still mortal, still flawed, Bastet."
Bastet smiled in agreement of Horus' first statement then gave him a look due to his second.
"I've protected the pharaohs along with Sekhmet from the very beginning and I know a great one when I see him."
"I believe you see something else when you look at him as well,"
"What would that be?"
Horus looked away from her before saying, "You will
be seeking counsel with him won't you?"
The night was warm though it was comfortable as Pharaoh gazed out at a star filled sky. The festivities of the day were over and he finally had some time alone to think, some peace. Looking behind him, he watched his wife sleep peacefully after making love to her. Roxana was his rock on this strenuous day so he wouldn't bother her with his internal troubles. Instead he decided to go elsewhere; a place where the individuals there would always hear him. Karim only hoped they would give him some response. He quickly got dressed and wore no shirt, woven shorts, and sandals on his feet. Karim then went to Roxana's side.
"I love you," He whispered before kissing her cheek.
He found his room guard who bowed before him.
Karim raised his hand, "Rise, I trust you will guard my beloved well?"
"We will mighty Pharaoh," one of the guards said returning to his feet.
"Where will you go, Sire?" the other guard asked.
"A temple, I require counsel with the gods." Karim told them before leaving his bedchamber.
There were twenty-six gods of Egypt and many temples dedicated to them, but Karim knew exactly where he'd go before he left the palace. He would pray to his godly protectors. Aknadin always spoke very highly of them, instilling in Karim to always pray and give thanks to them for his life. Moments later, Pharaoh arrived at the temple of Bastet. It was late at night, so the temple was empty much to his liking. Kneeling before one of the marble statues of the cat goddess, Karim closed his eyes and prayed softly.
"Almighty protector of pharaohs past, I am thy humble servant though I beg thee to hear my prayer. I beseech thee, grant me a long life. I ask this not out of vain, but out of a desire to lead my people for a long-standing time, so they not stray. Give me the wisdom to lead them justly and judge them rightly . . . bringing honor and prosperity to Egypt."
A hand suddenly found the top of his head and a woman's voice said, "Your prayer has been answered, my Pharaoh."
Karim's eyes snapped open, but looking up he was taken aback by what he saw. A beautiful bronze skinned woman stood in front of the king clad in a long, strapless white dress that reached her ankles. Curly, long brown hair cascaded down her back and around her lovely face while her voluptuous frame filled out the dress she wore nicely. The woman's cleavage was ever present as ample breasts heaved over the top of her dress with every breath. Her body was an hourglass, as she possessed a slim waist and a large backside. Along with the dress the woman was also clad in jewelry. She wore a gold necklace with a cat's head pendent in the middle of it and a few rings bearing the Eye of Wdjat.
Karim stood on his feet, "If you're a priestess then I thank you for getting my prayer through, but if not I warn that you mustn't sneak up on people." He continued with little thought of her response, "Especially not your king of all people," he added with a laugh and a smile.
"I am no priestess, but I know the gods favor you. They grant you all you've asked for, Karim."
First, the Pharaoh was taken aback by her beauty, but now it was by her conduct. He wasn't upset by this, but no one not even his oldest friends dared call him by his real name anymore. He was Pharaoh to all. He chose not to utter this thought.
"Without a tether to the gods how would you know all this?" he quizzed.
The woman gave a sweet smile, "You were praying before a statue were you not?"
At her words, Karim gave her a weird look. He looked behind her though he found that the statue was gone and when his eyes met the woman again, they widened in shock. The image of the statue flashed in his mind then he looked over the woman from head to toe and she was an exact copy of it, but with flesh.
are you?" He asked in fear.
"There is no need to fear . . . you've found favor with the gods. No harm will come to you this night," the woman assured him, her eyes morphing from normal to those of a cat. "Sekhmet and I watch over you."
The woman's words only made Karim fear her even more and he backed away from her. If he understood her words correctly than that would mean he was in the presence of a god. Not wanting to see what else she could possibly do, he bowed before her. He was only on the floor for a moment as the possible goddess held up her hand and picked the king up. To Karim's utter surprise, his feet weren't on the ground and Bastet let him levitate in the air as her feline eyes glowed to prove to him who she was.
"I am Bastet . . . protector goddess of the Pharaohs. Do you dare doubt my word?"
"No, I do not," the floating Pharaoh said timidly. "I live to serve the gods."
"Good," Bastet said, letting his feet hit the floor softly.
"W- -What do the gods need of their Pharaoh?" Karim asked feeling on himself to make sure this wasn't a dream.
He pinched himself and the pain told him that he was awake.
"We have answered your prayer, but our protection does not come without a price." Bastet explained, running her corporeal hand down his muscular chest to his stomach. "Are you willing to pay it?"
Pharaoh shuddered at her warm touch, "I am, but how?"
"With your body, my Pharaoh," Bastet told him as she continued to caress his body, "Does my corporeal form not please you?"
"Mmm . . . it does, but what of my queen?"
The goddess smiled at the king's faithfulness, "She'll know of nothing of this. A counsel with the gods is a private matter."
Bastet then kissed Karim's lips, "There no need to fight your arousal . . . I feel it burning inside you. It's been burning since you first laid eyes on me."
Pharaoh blushed, "It has."
"Then lie with me, my Pharaoh." the goddess said before pulling him into a passionate kiss, feeling his hardening manhood on her thigh.
Karim reciprocated Bastet's kiss, his tongue tracing the fullness of her bottom lip. Their fingers interlaced and their hands locked together as the passion of the kiss intensified. Karim sucked her bottom lip ever so slightly while his hand crept up the length of her thigh. Bastet detached her lips from his and moved them along his jaw line, kissing lightly before softly sucking just below his ear. Karim shuddered, knowing what was to come and unable to wait for it anymore. He pulled away from her causing a confused look from the goddess though it faded when the king returned her earlier gestures, his lips kissing, sucking, and biting her neck gently. Bastet's slender hands clenched in his hair as ragged moans escaped her mouth while he continued his ministrations.
Karim moved slowly down south until she gasped his name quite loudly. He couldn't help, but smirk at this hearing a goddess moan his name while pleasuring it was quite surreal. Karim then met her breasts, his tongue travelling down the long and agonizing avenue that was her cleavage before dragging his warm tongue across the tops of her smooth mounds. In on quick motion, he pulled the top of her dress down revealing her dark brown nipples. Bastet found that her nipples were surprisingly sensitive because at his mildest touch her womanly juices began to flow. Pharaoh used his mouth to suck and his teeth to gently pull on them.
"Mmm . . . that feels good, Karim." She moaned as he alternated between pleasing her left and right breast.
Neither of them missed a beat as they continued to please each other and soon found themselves on the hard temple floor. Bastet's white dress was stripped away from her, leaving her naked and only with her jewelry on. The Pharaoh and the goddess kissed passionately again while Karim buried his hand between her legs. He was gentle as his hand climbed up her thigh towards her sweet spot. He caressed her wetness, slowly torturing her body with pleasure. Bastet moaned, her breathing coming out in gasps as he slipped two fingers into her. She panted as he rubbed her clitoris roughly with his thumb while he mimicked what they were about to do with his fingers.
"Karim. . ." Bastet moaned, grinding her hips creating a rhythm between his fingers and her love nest.
Karim continued to finger her, tracing and memorizing every hot, wet curve. Sleeping with a god was something that he would never ever forget. His tongue flooded into the goddess' mouth, teasing her more and more with the tips of his fingers. The sensation was strange yet exhilarating to Bastet as she moaned into a new kiss while a great heat rose with her. The heat felt good, but it was also excruciating for her.
"Karim . . . it's too much. . ." She breathed out as she felt the heat all over.
The goddess' eyes snapped shut, her body giving into the mounting pleasure. She suddenly began to convulse as ripples of orgasm spread through her corporeal being and squirted out of her core. She fell back in a sated heap, but she wasn't truly sated, wanting to climax again. At her orgasm Karim stopped his actions though.
"Don't stop Karim," She said with a breath. "I want to climax again and you haven't yet."
Karim smiled, "It's not over . . . I think we finalize the barter on my protection."
Pharaoh stood up, got undressed, and quickly joined her on the floor. He strongly pulled her into his arms so that she straddled him. Karim entered her easily, slipping in to the hilt. Bastet let out a load moan as he filled her. His body fit hers completely.
"Oh . . . by the gods . . . you feel so good, Bastet." Karim moaned at warmth of her insides.
Pharaoh ran his hands down over Bastet's back to knead the toned cheeks of her buttocks. He grabbed her gently and used it as leverage as he thrust up into her.
"Ah Karim," Bastet groaned, his member feeling incredible inside her.
She ground her hips against his as he lifted her up and down. The friction and sensation was unbelievable as Karim shifted her against his hips angling himself differently to go deeper inside the wonderful heat. Bastet's body tightened as he began to thrust faster. She wrapped her arms around him, her fingers digging slightly into his muscled back as he kept making love to her. Karim kissed her with fervor, his breathing coming in haggard breaths as he tried to hold on to the pleasure that was rippling through his body. His tongue played with hers as he used one of his to rub her clitoris again.
"Oooh, my Pharaoh . . . yes. . ." the cat goddess moaned as she braced herself for another orgasm.
Karim sucked at the base of her neck right at the pulse point, he licked it tenderly as his hips thrust harder and deeper into her. He felt her body contract around his manhood and she screamed his name. His body convulsed and they shared a final kiss; the taste of her sweet mouth, the way her body tightened, and the pain of her nails on his back all added up to a deep, intoxicating climax that seemed to last forever.
Moments later, Bastet was gone and after straightening himself out Karim made his way out of the temple. To his surprise, he found Roxana waiting for him.
"Roxana?" He questioned.
"You weren't with me when I awoke, but the guards told me you were here."
"I was seeking counsel with gods," Karim explained.
"Were they helpful?"
"Very much so," Pharaoh replied with a smile, reliving what just transpired within the temple. "The gods were too good
