The reason that gun control is back on the agenda is because a racist idiot in Florida killed a black teenager he thought was acting suspicious and a nutcase went on a killing spree in a movie theater.

Having a gun does not make you trained to respond to that type of situation and without training you are just another person firing guns at people. You might hit the attacker but there is a very high chance that you will hit someone else and an even higher chance that someone will shoot you thinking that you are the shooter or acting with them.

I must admit the gun control subject has been one that divides the US and being from there i find myself on the side of gun owners. I am a gun owner and own a hand gun and two hunting rifles. And because of recent events plan to acquire my license to carry. I was one who did not plan to get this because i never felt the need, never thought I would ever need it. However society has changed and some people have no respect for human life and that's the ones who have pushed me to protect my family and myself. Point: went to a movie Monday with friends and our kids. a 20 something yr old man worked his way down our isle and sat in a seat between myself and other couple that was two seats from me, while there was an entire row in front of us with only two people and 15 seats on the other side of the couple he chose the sit between us. kinda creepy. he continually looked at his phone, place his hand in and out of his pockets and generally was restless the entire movie. my gut said something was wasn't right, my mind wondered if he was for the movie or some other crazy reason. well nothing happened, however because of all the recent events I couldn't help wish i had my carry permit and a gun. I don't think gun control is the answer because the ones that want to hurt people will find a way to get a gun and do their damage. we can put the statistics out to prove our side of the argument, but statistics will not stop bad people from doing bad things.

I know this is a post about the NFL ref's and Im glad to see the regulars coming back, however the comments on the NHL caught my attention. I do respect your comments, but im glad the NHL is in the south and I don't think it needs to go back north. Growing up in the south we didn't get to play it, I have been involved with hockey at all levels over the past 10 yrs and now it is a part of my entire family's life. Yes the fans to the north have a few more yrs of loyalty, give the south 40 yrs of exposure and we will be as obsessed with it as well. It's sad the owners want cut the players portion of revenue 20%, i think id say no thanks if my boss wanted to do that, especially for the second time in 7 yrs. I'm afraid we may not see it at all this season. once again billionaires arguing with millionaires over money and the fans don't get to watch our favorite team play.

its just another case of one whiner ruining something for the group. i say let them do it and teach the kid sometimes life isn't fair.

Wow, every post is hating on Romney/Ryan. I hope they win. I am a guy who looks at every politician as a liar. They tell us what they think we want to hear so you will vote for them. Most are lawyers who learn how present a side of the argument that will make them or their party the greatest thing ever. Its sad to me that the USA has to pick between the candidates we have. Whether REP or DEM you got to admit they are both lame. However my choice is for making our country great again, having a leader who is proud to be AMERICAN and not apologetic for it. I feel that we have started down the path of socialism and I'm out on that plan. I'm out on making everyone even. If you work hard you get more, if you choose to sit a wait for someone tho give you something, well you get what you get. The entitlement mentality has to stop, we have ruined a generation of kids with it. Whether REP of DEM they need to be reminded they actually work for US and the rest of the knuckleheads who actually run the the place need to know that as well. I say term limits for every office and get rid of the career politicians. Oh well just my 2 cents.

i find it interesting you gals don't like it, i consider myself a guys guy however i also cycle so from time to time i do shave. the guys give me shit about it, but it doesn't bother me. My wife says either shaved or hair, she doesn't like the stubble. the vain side of me does think it makes the legs look nicer.

Wow I didn't want to start a boy/girl feud with this post, i just thought it was interesting that on this type of site the number of ladies claiming they are bi that had an angry tone about how they were here only for girls. And yes I guess I was naive enough to think some or most were telling the truth about themselves. I understand the unwanted badgering some guys lay on the ladies, they are the ones that give the ones who are here to express and explore their wild side a bad rap.
