Topic Red or Blue for the default avatars?

Even now there are stories on the front page with authors with the default avatar so if you're going to change the default avatar it's going to affect the front page too. And other color default avatar would seem kinda out of place to me, on the front page at least.
I would like to see them grey, like they are when profile pictures haven't been fully loaded in the browser for a second. It wouldn't affect the front page much and the avatar would be less noticeable both in the front page and the forum, so hopefully extra incentive to change the default.

It's not dumb! Do you want a booty or Asian? I would take an Asian myself cause most will have a booty attached. Plus Asians are subservient right? Or do I have that mixed up with something else?
