WOW.....Do Texan's get a bad rap, holy cow....Texas has a lot of crazy laws that are on the books as most states probably do. It takes just as much time to amend a law or remove it from the books as it does to create on. So what usually happens is new ones are created to supersede the law. However the flaw comes in when good lawyers find the loop holes using the old laws. Just to lighten the mood...Here are a couple of the crazy Laws still on the books.
You can hang a man for cattle rustling.
You can't drive your car down Main St in Houston.
You can't have more than *3* beers while standing.
My favorite one however it is in Tennessee:
When a female is driving a car, the spouse must be in the front seat waiving a red flag to warn other drivers.
If you don't like the laws become a lobbyist and start changing them. I am sure the law will be amended, and they guy will get charged with solicitation as he admitted to it.

I was just talking to someone and we think it would be cool if we got a notice either in our inbox or e-mail about new updates, or changes on the site. It would also be nice if it was an option because not everyone is going to want the feature, because it can cause spam. But, sometimes we don't see the new features, or takes a while to see them. So, yeah that would be wicked!
I totally asked about this when I saw Gav in my room (i was in total shock).....but I soooo AGREE

I look in here all the time and would love to see people post more about what they want not just ...need sub message me....sighs...i know i wouldn't message somebody if i was looking for a Master with just that lil bit of words.

That is an awesome thought, i come here often cause i like to read want ads, but here they are just mini blurbs, the bedroom and basement are good places to start if you are just wanting a one session kinda thing. Here should be a place to actually find real ads that give info. Check out the puppy listing in a paper it will give you some ideas....All i am saying is DETAILS people, DETAILS.

I love the idea. I also know that you can turn off scores and comments. However I like the feature that to vote you must leave a comment, because I feel that if you are required to leave a comment and you are scoring a low score it will most likely be constructive rather than I don't like you or the content of the story rather than the score being based on the actual writing.
The option would be great. As a new writer it is scary to have all your comments out there for others to see.
I honestly was not going to post a story because I was scared that I would get a negative comment.
Thanks for letting us give input.

I personally don't think it matters, there already is a "who is viewing currently" spot. I have sometimes wondered but then I can say it would make me mad if they read my profile then totally disregarded all that I say on it. And if I can't see if blocked people are stalking my profile not sure of the point. just my 2 cents.

No, Americans have the freedom to refuse to pledge. But that freedom should be the reason that you do pledge! We take this freedom for granted. In what other country can the losing side of a civil war display their flag in public and not be executed? You should pledge, but because you want to. Take out the "under God" part though, that wasn't in there when the pledge was first written.
I agree we as adult have the freedom to refuse the pledge. Children on the other hand should know how to be loyal and respectful, before they are allowed to exercise there freedoms.
