For me, since becoming a verifier, I never knew there was such an audience for the more taboo types of stories. Also, I didn't realize how many people can't use proper punctuation, spell check, or even simply read our guidelines!

Is a verifier like an editor?

Lol. Really? This is actually a huge turn off for me. In fact, while in a chat room, a guy asked me to look at his profile pics. He didn't tell me why. He wouldn't drop the subject, so I finally caved in and looked. And behold, it was a gallery full of cock-shots. After immediately clicking out of his profile, I didn't say anything. So 5 minutes later, he asked me if I looked and how I felt. And I asked him how I was supposed to feel. His exact answer was "Appreciative". And I asked him what I was supposed to appreciate? It was a dick. I've seen plenty in my lifetime and I'm sure I'll see plenty more (my exact words). And of course, his response was a whole lot of butthurt. Moral of the story: If a guy pesters you to look at his dick pics and you don't appreciate them, then obviously you're a man-hating lesbian who's so hard up for a good fuck that she takes it out on random strangers...especially those that beg you to look at pictures of their dick.

Wouldn't bother me in the least. So long as the online/offline boundary was kept.

Depends on the boundaries of your relationship. Just think about how it would make your significant other feel if he/she knew if you were cybering online. If it's something you wouldn't want them to know about, then chances are you shouldn't be doing it.

I wouldn't mind. She would mind knowing. She might not understand it.
