I came on here (initially at least) to rid myself of a secret I've kept for many years without being able to tell anyone. When I was a young teenage boy I discovered my father was having an affair with his secretary at the time (my first story incidentally, entitled 'Catherine - a foreign affair'). An innocent kid, I was mortified as to why he would do such a thing, and what would happen if my Mum ever found out. I kept the knowledge to myself, but over subsequent years watched my father's interactions with other females much more closely, and it slowly dawned on me that he was a serial cheater, especially with his secretaries (hence the username!). He had many throughout his career, and whether they were any good at their job or not I don't know, but they were invariably younger than him and very good looking!! To this day I don't believe my mum ever uncovered his affairs (though I know she suspected him many times!), so I decided to join lush to unburden my secrets in the form of storytellling, recounting my father's various dalliances over the years. Some of the stories are based around actual events (and sprinkled with a little fairy dust!), some are hear-say, some are where I suspected him, but never uncovered any actual proof. A cathartic process for me personally (and a damn sight more fun than going to a psychiatrist! ;-) ), if anyone gets enjoyment out of reading the tales, then so much the better! :-)
