I'm a ex-pat Brit living in the United States. I'm single, which is probably for the best as I travel pretty extensively for work.
Interests I like to travel a lot, especially when I'm doing it for non-work reasons. I play music (sax and guitar), and love seeing live music wherever I go. I'm a voracious reader, a great cook and awful food snob, and I do love a good wine or spirit.
Favorite Books This will surely be an incomplete list, but off the top of my head: 100 Years of Solitude, Ishiguro's The Unconsoled, The Unbearable Lightness of Being, Infinite Jest, The English Patient, Where the Wild Things Are, and Go Dog Go.
Favorite Authors Those noted above, though maybe especially Milan Kundera, Garbriel Garcia Marquez and Kazou Ishiguro. In terms of erotica (aside from Kundera), I like Megan Hart quite a bit, and Jane Hirshfield's erotic poetry makes me think she knows me better than most women I've actually met.
Favorite Movies Movies don't really stick as much with me, so my favorites are always great ones I've seen really recently. Right now that would include food-based movies like The Trip, Eat Drink Man Woman and Sukiyaki Django.
Favorite Music Very, very eclectic. Jazz, alternative, blues, classical, it doesn't matter much. I really, really love music.
