Topic Been dumped by a girl because your job was menial/low status
Posted 20 May 2017 10:39

I posted a question on the "Ask the gals" of "would you date a garbage man?" For some women that might not be a problem but for many that would be deal breaker.
(What woman wants to boast she is dating a garbage man? )

However, not woman admitted it would be a problem for her. I got accused of being a snob, one woman even suggested I see a therapist!

So, guys have you ever been dumped because your girl found another guy, A guy who drove a better car, had a better paying or higher status job than you?

Surely I am not alone in this experience.

I have been a paperboy, a dishwasher, a short order cook, a blood donor, a drug dealer, an auto upholstery installer, a writer (paid, but not much), a theater director (paid, but not much), a telephone pollster, a "How to take the SAT" teacher, a middle school teacher, the head of a presidential polling operation, and (currently) an IT professional at a university.

I have been paid below minimum wage, and I have been paid relatively high corporate salaries.

I didn't change. All that changed was my job. It is a very superficial aspect of who I am, and who any of us are.

Really? Would Patton have been the same man without his armies? Trump the same man without his billions?

Would Van Gogh have committed suicide if had been commercially successful as an artist?

The job changes the man, in big ways and small.

I think your "question" is actually a self conceited declaration, filled with arrogance and in bad taste about a person's socio-economic status. Of which, you are a nobody to question about in the first place. Let alone women's choice of preference over selection of their desired partners based on occupation and status in society.

Really? You tell your girlfriend your dating a lawyer will get a much different response than telling your dating a garbage man.

Your father/mother might appreciate the work ethic of a garbage man, might not judge him, but most every mom wants to boast
to her friends, "my daughter is dating a doctor (or some other profession) now." She might tell her friends, if true, that Mr. Garbage Man
is good to you, makes you happy etc. His occupation will be way down on the list of things she tell her friends about your boyfriend.

If you were the first kid to learn to ride a bike in the neighborhood. your Mom (and/or Dad) boasted. If you marry a doctor/lawyer etc, she will
boast. Garbage man? Hardly. It is the way the world works.

I say this because the other day, I went to a Taco Bell after my work out.
I was horny as hell because of the babes in the gym, but I know they are not interested in a middle age guy like myself.

In my head, I'm imaging them fucking some young dudes in uniforms. Well into the Taco Bell come a couple of young dudes.
I imagine them and the girls in the gym getting it on, but then I realize they are garbage collectors on their lunch break?

Really what woman would wan to date a garbage collector, even if he was hot?

To the bank haha, worked in bars for years and tips didnt come from my sparkling wit!

At work the other day, we were discussing jobs we had in college. A female coworker, who was not that hot looking, said she sometimes
made $450 a night as a cocktail waitress at upscale bar. . . . She made more in one night that my month's pay on my research grant.

Sometimes life isn't fair.

Topic To those who Cheated while being in Relationship, what Instigated you ? was it worth ?? and what were the consequences ??
Posted 09 Apr 2017 15:51

People can be too quick to judge. Circumstances are often not as simple as yes/no. A marriage that is sexless (health issues) over an extended time puts a log of pressure on the healthy member. For the past two years I've had a relationship with a woman who understands the situation and has helped me out. Without the frustrations of celibacy, the tension with my wife is reduced...sleeping sexlessly next to her is no longer a period of frustration and tension.

Does she suspect? maybe. She has told me on various occasions that there are certain things she does not want to know about. So I need to be discreet whether she knows or not..

How will it play? I don't know.

My wife has had health issues as well. She was overweight when we married (so was I). I have trimmed up, not as much as could, but I'm in better shape than I was ten
years ago. She is just not physically appealing. A lot of women here would say, "just get a divorce." But there are not the one who would have to pay alimony.
It is not just alimony, but I would not only lose the house, but the tax deduction that goes with the house, and health insurance (i'm on her policy, which is better than the one I have through my work).
Moving out would mean I would have to commute further much further to work, so there is wear and tear on the (and I would lost multiple car insurance discount).

Figure a divorce would cost me nearly 40% of my income, ever year until age 62 (when alimony ceases).

Cheating is lot cheaper, and besides I have two in college. So far with mom and dad's help they haven't had to take out student loans. A divorce would change that.

This is a little off topic, but when I was in graduate school, I was poor, really poor. So poor (no joke) I took advantage of blood
bank program where I could sell my plasma (not blood) for ten bucks.

While I laid in the recliner with a needle in my arm, I thought if were a woman, even not a hottie, I could make more make my rent and more with a just
a couple of nights work and wouldn't have to be sitting in the chair with a needle in my arm.

Topic Tattoos:yes or no?

Tattoos are a real turn off.

Women if you want to attract the "bad boy" get a tramp stamp or other tattoo. But remember "bad boys" often make bad fathers, bad employees
bad drivers, bad credit risks etc.

However, if you have the "Fortune 500" look, you will attract "Fortune 500" guys. A man who know how to treat his clients, suppliers,
subordinates etc., with respect, he will more likely respect you.

That is one great show isn't it? Complex plot, good acting, great visuals.
The church scene was some powerful cinema.

Topic Men cleaning up
Posted 18 Dec 2016 14:34

I just had to add this. Sometime ago, I had really, really bad day at work and having a hot babe for a boss didn't help. When I got home, I got drunk. I usually don't drink on work nights and this was the middle of the week, but like I said I had a really bad day. So after awhile my lady friend and I go back to the bedroom. She hadn't been drinking at all.

Now normally I'm a considerate lover, but that night I was selfish. Realizing I was just thinking about my own pleasure, I dove down between her thighs and licked aggressively. I feel asleep not so after, but woke up a couple of hours later with the saltiest taste in mouth. It took a second of two to recognize why. In the morning, thinking my lady friend felt used, I asked "are you good?" The answer was a very heartfelt, "oh I'm good."

Let's see how accurately Lush members can predict the Presidential election.
Put down who you think will and how many million votes she (or he) will get.

I'll average the results at the end to see how "in tune" Lush members are with the electorate.

To help everyone guess reasonable numbers, here are the numbers from the last two elections:

Obama: 65.9 million Romney 60.9 million
Obama: 69.4 million NcCain 59.9 million

Thank you.

Topic Sweaters in summer?
Posted 11 Aug 2016 19:31

I was at the gym the other day. It was a hot day outside and the gym wasn't much that cooler. It had been that hot for days. . . so no surprise forecast.

Something "seemed wrong" with a woman who briefly caught my attention. She had a sweater tied around her waist. Who needs a sweater in such heat?

As summer wore one, I noticed a few more. Are these women really cold? Or do they tie their sweaters around the waist some other reason?

Topic Pretending to use a cell phone.
Posted 04 Jun 2016 13:10

I appreciate everyone's honesty. I haven't been give the cell phone brush off directly, just I have observed when I work at the gym, a lot of women seem to
reach for the cell phone just as a guy walks by.

I'm (obviously) a middle age guy, no one is checking me out. I don't exactly need to have my cell phone handy to suddenly pretend to text someone.

I shouldn't say "no one". The other day I got on the rowing machine, pretty soon a woman who is about five years old than me, starts using
the machine next to me. She starts chatting me up. For a few minutes I thought she was just the talkative type, then
it dawned on me. she was interested in me. Very odd feeling when the shoe is on the foot.

I kinda like it . . would have like it more is she was five years younger and without so much grey hair.

Topic A little OCD never hurt anyone, right?
Posted 08 May 2016 15:11

I don't have a picture, but my cat does have OCD. Most mornings I get up, feed him, and put away the dishes from the dishwasher that washed duing the night. He finishes eating about
the time I am about done and I let him outside. However, if there are no dishes, I go back to the other side of the house
and start my exercise routine. The cat, even though there is a cat door to the outside in the kitchen, will go over the other side of
the house and "help' me exercise until I walk back to the kitchen and let him out.

Topic Opening a door for a guy?
Posted 12 Apr 2016 20:08

Where I work, the first floor is the lobby, storage etc. Most employees work on the second floor and arrive around 830 a.m. Almost everyone who works on the second enters through the employee
entrance and walks thru a short hallway and up the stairs to the second floor. If a younger woman is ahead of me at the entrance door, she almost always holds the door open
and motions me to go on ahead.

I'm sick and tired of "age" before "beauty". What do I do? I don't like being treated like an old man who can't open a door for himself.

Topic I need your advice about cuckolding ( ladies only please )
Posted 24 Mar 2016 19:26

we never talked about it, but she said she wants to try everything once, so I think if I tell her its my fantasy she would be willing to give it a try.
and yes, one part of me would be angry, jealous, humilliated if she fucks another guy, but still at the same time, it turns me on so much.
when I imagine this I always imagine it with a masculine black guy with a huge cock to fuck her really hard and cum inside her, and I have to clean her up, and if they want, clean him up too. I imagine her getting fucked hard, moaning and telling me how bigger he is than me, and he can make her cum many times, and that he will cum so much inside her that he will put a black baby inside her.
thats my ideal fantasy...

I think the dynamic with guys wanting to be a cuckold, has to be about just being a nice guy. A nice guy wants to give his wife a big diamond ring, a big trip to some exotic locale, or simply "a big house" Since few guys can afford these (to express their love) the opt to find a big dick (in dildo form or in the flesh). Few women are completely materialistic, but also very few aren't materialistic at all. The guy recognizing this truth wants (I assume) to get her what "big thing" he can afford.

That said, have all the fun you want, but don't have the "bull" father a child for you. That is unfair to the child. All his/her life he/she will be asked you don't look like your father at all.

Topic Do you try to show off at the gym?
Posted 20 Mar 2016 09:01

I'm a creature of habit, when I go the gym, I use the same machine in the second row as I always do.
I do this whether the machine in the row in front of me is empty, being used by a man, or being used by a woman.

Plenty of times, far too many to be coincidences, if it is young woman on the machine in front of me she leaves quickly.
I get it. I'm the old guy, its like working out in front of your father (I get it, but it does get tiresome).

However, I thought does the reverse work? Do women pick the machine to work out in front of the hot guy?

Topic Valentine Day's and lingerie
Posted 11 Feb 2016 20:48

My husband used to buy lingerie when we were dating and before our children.

We always go out for a nice dinner and usually there is some kind of a gift.

He has bought bracelets, flowers and lately just gives me cash.

Cash always works....

Cash? Cash is something you give the high school graduate or a nephew or niece for Christmas.

Tell me your size, I'll get you something nice.

Topic Religion, Bad or Good?
Posted 09 Jan 2016 17:12

In what way would an atheistic or agnostic hospital be any different from any regular public secular hospital? The only difference I can think of would be that a strictly atheistic hospital would perhaps not employ religious chaplains.
Were I live all hospitals that have a religious background are older hospitals, from a time when religion was still an important part of society and most people subscribed to one religion or another. Many hospitals have dropped those affiliations though, sometimes through merges, other times because it's just not relevant anymore for their mission. Sometimes their names still reflect their religious origin though.

Some churches do good, some don't. Some believers do good, some don't. Same for atheists. The main difference when it comes to doing good or bad things is that for atheists incentives for doing good will never come from religion, and neither can they point to theological arguments to excuse bad behaviour.

My point is not the some secular hospitals do good work, or that organizations like Doctors without Borders does good work, but that atheists have never come together to 'do good'. At a secular hospital, you may have people of faith or no faith, but it is a private matter. Avowed atheists have never come together to do 'good deeds'. Organized religion does thinks (feed the homeless, clothe the poor etc.) that people without faith do not in UNISON. They may do so on an individual basis, but not as "Organized nonreligion.'
