I like "The Playground" as suggested.

Also;

The Meet n Greet
The Chillax
The Peek-a-Boo
The Lush Hot Tub
The Bar n Grill
The Toe Tester
The Buy You a Drink

Just some ideas!

As for themes, obviously friendly and no drama. Everyone or someone in the room has to either say "Welcome" or "Hello" to anyone coming into the room.

I like the name Lush Hot Tub

How about:

The Cushdy Cocktail Lounge or the Vodka Bar - for those who have consumed a few beverage or 2, tasted the sweet nectar of goods, bowed down the the amber ale etc..

Just for Perverts

Like this one too- all Perverts should automatically go there and not bother those who are not in the 'cyber' rooms. Do this ppl actually read the chat room description... obviously not.

When diagnosed with a terminal illness a patient might have just weeks or months to live.

Should they fight on or accept the inevitable?

Should their doctors hold out hope, however slim, or deliver the hard medical reality?

These decisions are much tougher as medicine and medical technology becomes increasingly sophisticated .

Patients , families and doctors wrestle with these ethical and moral dilemmas at the end of life.

How much are we willing to pay personally and as a society to prolong a life when there is little hope?

On a different note:
How do you feel about Euthanasia? Should it be legalised?

~~~~ ~~~~ ~~~~
I believe everyone has a right to fight for their lives, but at the same time, if the medical condition of the patient is so dire, that it is beyond recovery, then the person should have a choice of whether they want to continue fighting or accept the inevitable. I think the ethical and morality lines become blurry when the individual is no longer capable of decision making and the choice is place on the family to fight or not.
Ultimately it is a tough, tough decision based on many factors specific to the individual. I'm interested to know what you all think. What are you personal experiences if you would like to share.
Topic Should violent criminals be given false identities?
Posted 24 Nov 2010 16:06
So even if you commit a crime as a child, do you think they should not be given the chance to reintegrate into society as an adult who has "paid their debt to society"?
Sex offenders will always reoffend again and again. Murders for commit vicious crimes such as Venables & Thompson will never feel remorse or repent.
At boys at 10yrs should be playing football not planning a sickening murder of an innocent toddler. They took the precious life of 2yr old James Bulger. Have you actually read about the crimes they committed? You would not have imagined that 2 children did it. They had planned that day of the murder to find a child to abduct and to push him on to path of oncoming traffic and instead they found little James. And what they did to him was so vile and wicked.
Your questions is so flippant and I assume the callus way you asked it is because you have no idea what they actually did.
They’re punishment was a measly 8yrs reduced from a 10yr sentence because of ‘good behaviour’. Life lived in prison is governed by strict regiments. There are rules to follow. These boys may have abide by the rules leading to good behaviour but by no means changes the state of their mentality.
They committed a crime of unparallel evil and barbarity and they knew the difference between right and wrong. They were given the chance to reintegrate with society because of “good behaviour”. The basis of their release should have been based on psychiatric evaluation. They blew that chance, fooled those who believed they felt remorse and continued to commit more crimes. There is no way in hell they've paid their debt to society . Instead criminals like them to should be lock up for life or be moved into a detention centre with maximum security and never be allowed to re-enter society. They lost that right when they took a life in the way they did.
Venables after release got himself into trouble numerous times. In March 2010 Venables was sentence to prison for an unspecified violation of the terms of his licence of release. Justice Secretary Jack Straw, stated that Venables was returned to prison because of "extremely serious allegations", and stated that he was "unable to give further details of the reasons for Venables' return to custody, because it was not in the public interest to do so. This says to me he has committed another unspeakable crime.
Then again in June 2010, Venables was charged with possession and distribution of indecent images of children. It was alleged that he downloaded 57 indecent images of children over a twelve month period to February 2010, and allowed other people to access the files through a peer-to-peer network. Obviously he still hasn't learnt- there was crime of sexual element committed to Bulger.. You tell me there is no connection there.
Little is know of Robert Thompson. But there were rumours circulated that he had moved to Perth, Western Australia. In June 2006 an 8yr Sofia Rodriguez-Urrutia-Shu was murder in a shopping centre toilet, her 14yr old brother discovered her naked body 10mins after she disappeared. The person who committed the crime was Dante Wyndham Arthurs. This person was also believed to be none other that Robert Thompson. Coincidentally or not, both share the same birthday and Arthurs was born in Britain. Arthurs confessed to sexually assaulting another girl in 2001 in Britain when he was arrested however he was never charged with the incident because he left Britain for Australia before an identity parade could take place. Are they the same person?? But both the Australian and British Government have denied these claims.
My question is... Should taxpayers pay for violent criminals to be given false identities to protect them or should they be 'thrown to the wolves' and deal with the public outcry and face the consequences of their violent crimes?
No of course not. The Justice System is one big cock up and needs to be seriously reviewed. But they shouldn’t be “thrown to the wolves” either. Instead they should just stay out of society forever in a detention centre designed for such vile criminals. These people will never changed new identity or not. They have not been given a new brain free of evil doings.
Hazlenut & Olive Oil Cake
Super Easy :)
Ingredients:
3 eggs
1 cup caster sugar
3/4 (185ml) extra virgin olive oil
2 Tbsp Frangelico- (if you don't have the alcohol/don't like it substitute with 1-1 1/2Tbsp vanilla essence, and add slightly more olive oil)
1 cup plain flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 cup hazelnut meal
finely grated rind of 1 lemon or orange (I've only tried it with lemon rind, so far)
1/2 cup toasted hazelnuts, chopped
pure icing to dust (optional)
thick cream or good quality vanilla icecream to serve (optional)
Method:
1. Preheat oven to 180C or 160C fan. Grease with olive oil and line base of 20cm springform tin.
2. Beat eggs & sugar until thick and pale. Add oil and frangelico/vanilla essence. Beat until just combined.
3. Sift flour & baking powder into egg mixture. Add hazelnut meal and orange or lemon rind. Use a large spoon to fold in mixture until just combined.
4. Spoon mixture into tin. Scatter over chopped hazelnuts. Bake for 45mins or until an inserted skewer comes out clean.
5. Cool in pan. Transfer to serving plate, dust with icing sugar, serve with cream/ ice cream or your favourite tea!
:D
Tip: Using olive oil instead of butter gives a more dense result and faint fruity flavour. Olive oil also has less saturated fat than butter, so it's a little bit better for you :D
Tarragon Tomato Soup with Olive Oil Croutons
For you Lushies living in the northern hemisphere, we practically lived on this throughout winter :)
Ingredients:
2 small onions or 1 large onion (depends how oniony you want it)
2-4 garlic cloves (again depends how garlicky you want it)
1.5kg tomatoes, roughly chopped
2-4 cups salt reduced stock (I use vegetable stock, 1-2 cups to keep it a thicker consistency)
1 bunch tarragon, roughly chopped and extra to serve (use basil, if you can't get tarragon, goes just as well)
1x lemon- grated lemon rind
1/4 tsp chilli flakes
200g ciabatta or french stick or any crusty bread
250g cherry tomatoes, finely chopped to serve
Method:
1. Cook onion first over medium heat until soften then add garlic. Add tomatoes and cooked until collapsed.
2. Add lemon rind, chilli, tarragon and stock, cover and cook, stirring occasionally, bring to the boil and then gently simmer for 30mins, until it reduces slightly.
3. Let the soup rest and preheat oven to 180C fan. roughly tear up bread into small pieces, toss generously in olive oil. Bake until golden. I usually toast the remaining bread as larger pieces to mopped the rest of the soup up.
4. Blend the soup, with a hand held bender. I usually semi- blend it in the pot, leaving some chunky tomato pieces.
5. Ladle soups into bowls. Season and top with croutons, cherry tomatoes and extra tarragon and splash of extra virgin olive oil.
Tastes better the next day. Enjoy! :)
Topic Bi-Sexual Men and Women
Posted 16 Nov 2010 20:32
You can use broad or narrow terms to define bisexuality but I think it’s important that you respect people’s definition whatever it is. For some people bisexuality is a phase, a brief experimentation, but for many people it is a lifelong committed sexual orientation.
I’ve noticed an interesting cultural development in which bisexuality has become trendy in young women, particularly the younger generation because they are influenced by celebrities whom these young girls look up to. “I kissed a girl and I liked it”, Katy Perry told us in her #1 hit single. Megan Fox, Lindsay Lohan, Lady Gaga, Anna Paquin, Angeline Jolie, Drew Barrymore- they all want as to know that they are bisexual. But there is no comparable crowd of young male celebrities rushing to assure us that they are both ways.
During my teens I became aware that I like women. For me I am attracted equally to both women and men. My attractions are towards qualities I see in an individual regardless of the person’s gender. Sometimes these qualities involve gender, sometimes not.
Just something to think about:
In an attempt to codify sexual attraction for the two genders, human sexuality researcher Alfred Kinsey developed a seven level rating scale in which "0" meant purely heterosexual and "6" meant purely homosexual. The vast majority of adults rate themselves as a "0." A gay and lesbian minority identify themselves as a "6". A small minority are bisexual (ratings 1 to 5). Of these, only a very small minority are attracted to both men and women equally and identify themselves with a "3" rating. This is known as the Kingsley Scale.
I agree thoroughly with Dancing_Doll & HoneyBee000 and the rest who luv having their necks kissed. Another spot that makes my stomach spin and lights my spark is being kissed in the between the shoulder blades, slightly to the left.. it has to be in the exact spot.. always takes my breath away!
I also luv to kiss along the jaw line, right under the ear ;)
p.s. first time in the forum, still trying to figure out how it works. I wanted to quote Dancing_Doll, but that quote box didnt come up..not sure how to do it...
