Hi … my name is JefferyB. I’ve been a member of the Lush family for several years now. I originally joined to read the stories with hopes that I could write a few as well. Since then I’ve published over 180 stories on Lush and ten books through Kindle. Reading these stories and writing them has become a major hobby. I’ve even been known to do some editing at the request of friends.

Through the last few years, I’ve made some lovely friends here and hope to add more as time goes on and I have more time for reading and writing. While I certainly don’t claim to be any kind of a writing expert, I am always more than happy to help those that need a little assistance. To date, I’ve had two stories place in competition’s Top 10 and have two Famous stories on my own, another written with my good friend GreenEyedKitty, one with Mindsparks and another written with ChrisM.

Interests
I am semi-retired. My passion is singing. I sing in a men’s quartet and a large choral group. The pandemic sorta put an end to group singing.

Favorite Authors
I’ve read everything ever written by Robert B. Parker. I love his style, character dialogue and his ability to create characters that you loved and hated. For entertainment, Clive Cussler is my man, but now he writes them faster than I can read them. For a shorter series, I'm in love with Ken Follett's Kingsbridge Series. What a wonderful story teller Mr. Follett is.

Favorite Movies
Way too many to list... however, given the chance I would watch these over and over again: To Kill a Mockingbird, Patton, Mr. Roberts, Shawshank Redemption, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Saving Private Ryan. Princess Bride anyone? The Quiet Man, Big Jake and True Grit with The Duke. There just isn't enough space for me to list all of the great movies.

Favorite TV Shows
I watched the Bridgerton series on Netflix and continue watching Oak Island on the History Channel. There aren't any weekly programs on the networks that follow. I spend my TV time watching sports or movies. I've just finished the second season of Ted Lasso and can tell you it is delightful. I know... I'm late to the game.

Favorite Music
Anything but Rap, which isn’t music anyway. Call it poetry to a beat, but not music. I am happy with Classical, Jazz, Big Band and Pop. Still think there was never anyone better than Sinatra, but can totally groove with Michael Bluble’. I love Broadway from South Pacific to Rent. Andrew Lloyd Webber – Hell yes! And of course, good old Rock & Roll.
