About Revolution
Biography

A little about me. Uhh...I like to think I'm funny. I'm a bit of a geek. I'm a PC gamer and I love Star Wars and Manga/Anime (mainly Mecha :D) and all that other geek shit. I enjoy comedy, mainly stand up, but also Chappelle Show and some sitcoms (That 70's show is great :D). Some call me a narcissist, although I disagree. Narcissists are typically *unts, I'm nice, I just think I'm awesome. :) I'm more of a reader than a writer. I write a little, but I don't know if I'll be sharing any of them yet. And yea. Anything else you'd like to know, just ask me. I'm friendly. :)

Topic: Do you believe in "God"?
Posted: 03 Sep 2010 09:57

Yea I believe in God. I'm monotheistic.

I'm not sure how to explain this, but I'll try. I believe if God doesn't exist, the concept of God would never have existed either. I just don't believe the human mind is/was ever capable of "creating" a concept as complex as God.

I don't really know how to explain it more than that, so I hope that makes sense.

I'd definitely try it at least once.

Topic: A what makes a good wife
Posted: 19 Jun 2010 13:26

Would you say that good wife is one who serves her husband in the morning like a mother does, loves him in the day like a sister does and pleases him like a prostitute in the night.

If by that you mean she can cook, she can clean, she'll go down on you and she'll do them all without a fuss, then I totally agree. ;)

Na for real, a good wife imo is someone who is willing to put up with your shit... forever . I mean, even our own mothers get sick of us eventually. No matter how many other qualities she has, if she can't put up with you, neither of you will be happy.

Topic: Decriminalizing Recreational Drugs - Pros and Cons

There MAY be somewhat more bloodshed among suppliers at the beginning as new hopefuls intrude on the territories of the existing juntas, but that would be over quickly. I have no doubt that Coke, Sony, and General Electric know a thing or two about dealing with competition...

Fair enough. For some reason I didn't take into consideration big corporations taking over and just assumed the current drug syndicates would remain in control. Thanks. :)

Topic: Are you a natural snoop?
Posted: 15 Jun 2010 09:16

Nah. I hate snoopers lol. I grew up in a family of snoopers, so I never really had any privacy. For that reason I value privacy a lot and would never invade it. I won't say it hasn't ever crossed my mind, but I'd never act on it. For someone to snoop, especially someone close to me, would be like the ultimate sin. I'd find it easier to forgive a cheater than a snooper.

On the other side of the coin, you see that cartels and dealers continue to be an invisible and unstoppable force. With the amount of drug wars, violence and money spent with still no solution, I can understand the desire to debate the benefits of legalization and what kind of impact it might have, because certainly what is going on now just isn't working...

How do you see legalizing drugs affecting drug wars? Not trying to be condescending, serious question.

I see it like this. The drug trade is controlled by crime syndicates. Drug wars are usually started for control of the drug trade. They happen when crime syndicates try to move in on each other. So in other words, the more competition, the more likely someones toes will get stepped on, the more likely a war will break out. Legalizing drugs will only increase that competition. So I can only see it creating more wars.

I don't see how legalizing drugs is going to make crime syndicates any less dangerous or how it will affect their control over the drug trade. I'm almost certain that I've missed some major point here, so if you could explain it for me, that would be much appreciated.

Topic: What do you like most about reading?

The fact that the visual images I produce are influenced by my imagination, not just the author. In a movie, you only see what the director shows you.

Topic: Books you've struggled through / didn't finish, and why?

Twilight, it was crap. I wanted to read it before I judged it, but I couldn't finish the first book.

Topic: What has surprised you about Lushstories.com? A question for readers and writers alike.

The variety of age groups. The other sites I've been to have way too many old, or way too many young (like below 18) writers.

Topic: Do you ever fall asleep while reading at night?

Negative. If the book isn't interesting enough to keep me awake, I put it down when I get sleepy.
