No "ism's" should be taught in the educational system as subject matter, it should only be taught as a foot note in the history of mankind. We learn about communism, natzism and sexism in history so as to learn from our mistakes, creationism should be no different and be placed in the same category. The education system should be impartial and should be used to advance society by teaching proven facts.
How about removing all categories and just having 1 new one called "married vanilla sex stories (with the light out)"
Perhaps so, but would you not view some intolerance as justified, necessary even? Intolerance of racism, sexism, domestic violence...is 'intolerance' an improper reaction to those things? And if not, how do the rights of gay couples not qualify similarly? Please don't get me wrong, i'm not condoning any of the "ism's", I was just trying to bring to light that to recognise intolerance, one has to be intolerant, the only sure way of curing bigotry is through education and a re-distribution of wealth, which as i'm sure you're aware of, isn't going to be happening any time soon. If our children are educated on the pain and suffering caused by these people, that will go a long way to reducing those blights in our societies... however without a re-distribution of wealth, the poor and uneducated will blame their woes on those that they feel threatened by, SO, must we now remove the children of those that are guilty of these "ism's", to stop them repeating the wrongs of their parents?...if we do that then I fear we will be entering a very dark and disastrous time for all
yes. Semantic paradox aside, that's the idea. I agree to the fact that it is a semantic paradox, however, a person's personal views on a subject doesn't make them intolerant... it's the view of others who would object to those views that label him/her intolerant, thus being just as intolerant as the person they have just judged
So...be intolerant to intolerants ?
flashing in public is what flashers do... i don't think you can call it flashing if it's in private!
so are you saying lesbians cant, wont, or shouldnt chat to men ?oh and by the way this forum was ask the girls, the clue is in the word girls but cheers all the same to you and overmykneenow When I noticed this thread on the main page it didn't say 'ask the girl's ' and it wasn't asking whether lesbians can't, won't or shouldn't chat to men, but why they don't add males to their friends list... just sayin
the one i was born with
i 'd say the same as overmykneenow... it's because they're lesbians, the clue is in the word used to describe them
i prefer fully shaved, but also enjoy a landing strip... full bush is a definite turn off as i need to see the pearly gates before i enter them, not spend eternity hacking through a jungle in the hope of finding them! there's also the oral side which i need to do... sex without oral, for me is just extremely bad manners
