Jake Mathew Draleau, 47 years of age. I am married, I have no children yet. No ex spouse in the background. I am recently retired from the military, ( I miss it already, nothing can replace the comradeship one experiences and the bonding one makes). I am straight, so I appreciate the company of women. I am still in the employ of my government and will remain so until I retire. Having served in other countries, I appreciate what we Americans have here. I extend "thank you for your service" to other members who have served honorably. I was always proud to wear my uniform.
Born and raised in a small town, My Dad was an attorney and my Mother was a teacher. I lived what one might call a privileged life. Attended college and did 4 years of ROTC. I gave the military a chance to see what it offered. I liked it, and stayed for 22 years.
I like the things the average males find interesting. I enjoy good movies, dancing, music especially, and the smell of a woman. The scent of her hair, the beauty in her eyes and the taste of her breath if I'm lucky enough to deserve a kiss, I enjoy that also. Respect is the key in my life and I extend it to all I have a conversation with. I have met very few people I didn't like. Everyone has qualities that make them of value.
I'm not very tall, 5' 10" and weigh 170 lbs. I swim, work out and lift my weight in bar bells.
I'm a non smoker, enjoy an occasional drink, but have found through experience that being sober
is the best state to be in when developing a relationship.
While serving in Iraq I met this wonderful girl. We became more than friends and we had plans for the future. Assignments caused us to separate and after awhile we lost track of each other.
after being here on this base for very short time I saw someone, a familiar face, a beautiful face.. We met again at the base exchange while i was buying a new watch. We made spectacles of our selves but neither one of us cared. A kiss was never so sweet and two arms around my neck never felt so good. this time I vowed I would never let her go. We have rented a house together and are both beginning a new life. What I expected to be a very mundane assignment has turned into the greatest joy of my life. We are an interracial couple and have been challenged many times because if it. Adrian is still in the military and recently passed her Family Nurse Practitioner's exam. (proud of that girl). The Jeep tells you we both enjoy four wheeling.

Interests
Dancing, enjoy a fast car (lost my license once for speeding) love the older model cars, I had an MG-B while I was in England. I have co-piloted a C-47 along with a trained pilot and as a passenger in a jet trainer, but never was trained on a jet. Thats a part of my life I really missed out on. Love contact sports (I have a game leg from a sand lot football game), long story.
