Yes, I have on a couple occasions.
It's never been an affair, as such, more like spur of the moment no-springs sex between two married people looking to reclaim some of the spontaneous passion we once had in our lives

The ratio of female to male co-workers where I work is like 10 to 1, so there are very few males. I couldn't see myself ever sleeping with any of them, just because I've worked there for over two years and I know most of them too well. It would be weird for me. Plus, I would never want to create awkward tension at work if something were to happen and the whole experience went bad or something like that.

I have a few times. Two of the times just kind of happened after a while of flirting. One of them was a girl I had been dating for awhile....she got a job at the restaurant I was working and we slipped into the bathroom together. Another place I worked I had sex in a walk-in cooler with both a guy and a girl.

Both of those times was good....the one with the guy turned out really bad as he wanted more out of things than I did. It made work really bad for awhile.

That's the only thing bad about it is when the other person sees it more than a one time thing or if things do end, you still have to work with that person.

Hey DoctorLove, have you ever had any one night stands with any of your co-workers? I bet you have some good stories.

Yes on a few occasions. My experience indicates it could go either way. In one case he has moved on to another company and another city. We still talk frequently and see each other two or three times a year.

The another guy still works for the company, but I have been the one that moved on. It was really hot and dangerous, but like so many affairs it burned white hot for a short time and then went out. I saw him a few month ago and we had coffee and laughed about how dangerous it was and how great it was at the same time.

The third was with a guy and his wife, they wanted to make it something permanent, but I was not then and am not now a permanent kind of girl. It became a bit uncomfortable when I continued to get calls from them over a few months.

All affairs are dangerous to some extent, but most have ended OK for me. A co worker, obviously adds another layer of danger to the affair. Would I recommend it not a chance!

When I was about 16 my dad told me that it wasn't a good thing to fish from the company pier. I have found that was a very wise rule for me anyway and my career.

Sure I've thought about it, and over the years have had offers and opportunity while on business trips - but thought the better course was to stay away from coitus. Too many complications with work and family life. But, have developed some very close friendships with female co-workers and learned much from them and their experiences.

I have had lots of sex over the years with one (1) co-worker. It made work a joy; lot's of quick meaningless sex.

I never did with a co-worker, but when I was a 37-year-old teacher (NOT a professor) at a small college, I had an affair with one of my students who was physically 22 but intellectually and emotionally he was my age. Although we were both consenting adults, the school frowned on it and when the Dean found out, I was fired (my student of course wasn't suspended, the Dean probably high-fived him). So anyway, probably not a real good idea to mix career and sex.

We did a little swinging with a co-worker and his wife for a little while. It went well for a little while and then they turned clingy. It made it tough around the workplace for a bit. We eventually went seperate ways with our jobs and friendship.

Quoted for truth!

I have slept with numerous co-workers and it makes for great stories, but its a REALLY bad idea in terms of working environment, reputation etc.

For a good two years. I would engage in sex and sexual acts with two different co-workers (7years ago). At a hospital, second shift, in boiler rooms, linen closets, after clinics closed. It was easy and I was easy.

Yes, a couple of times. First time I was working as a temp. and at the office Christmas party and the HR manager fucked me in his office .. was interesting watching his reactions next day when I was on reception and his wife came to collect him for lunch! ;-) The message i learnt from it/ - don't drink too much wine at the office, and sometimes it isn't your ability that gets you a permanent job. Second time was when i was teaching at a country school, went to a weekend seminar with the principle, spent a lot of time talking about education principles, then ended up slipping into bed with her, was an interesting year at school after that :-)

Yes. We had known each other for years. When she seperated from her husband we started to have sex. She has since divorced her husband and we are still together 4 years later and the sex is still great.bootyshake

Agreed! I very much enjoy the flirtatious 'dance' that happens between colleagues and have thought about it many times but I have not and would not cross that line and have sex with anyone I work with on a daily basis. Perhaps it's different for people working in more transient jobs but as a professional with a successful and rising career, I would never be so short-sighted as to allow my libido to take over and risk all that I've worked hard to accomplish just for a fuck.

John C and Belle, you guys are both so right on the ball with your answers. I too have been tempted and recognize the risk involved. The emotional risk, the career risk, the risk of litigation should all come into your thought process before you jump across the danger line. You guys are right on the mark, but I did and more than once too.
