Echo's Run is arguably Frank Lee's strongest title to date.

The story is cinematic, and has overtures of Kill Bill in the plot.

Those that enjoy a strong storyline will devour this title!

Echo James is on the run from a sordid life with a psychopathic ex-con and his collection of hedonistic followers. All the willowy blonde knows for sure is that her life depends on putting the past behind her, no matter what kind of unpredictable future lies ahead. Through a mutual connection, she seeks the help of a mysterious loner named Hawke, a man who specializes in helping people take on new identities.

After a tense, high speed escape through the desert, Echo finds Hawke's remote home, only to discover that the man she hired to help her invent a brand new future may be linked to her past in unexpected ways. As each of them learn a brand of trust neither has ever known, the past and present collide before plans for the future are certain.

But how certain can the future ever be? How certain does it really need to be when there's a chance you don't have to face it alone?

Just finished Whores. Echo's Run is already in my laptop version of Kindle. The blurb makes it seem like it might be more dramatic than usual. I love it when writers up the ante. :)

Congratulations, Mr Lee ...this is an absolute scorcher of a story! I'd never really thought about it but the Tarantino overtures are definitely there ... this story leaves you begging for more and I for one would love to see a part two ... *sigh* always a sign of a good book! xx

The trouble with having an open mind, of course, is that people will insist on coming along and trying to put things in it.

I hope this story will appeal to everyone as much as my previous work. This one was really stubborn! :-)
